The media could not be loaded. Value was worth it. It does what it does. Easy to open and fold up. And camera remote was easy to control. I got this for an event this past weekend, and it worked out great! Worked with my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and my wife's 12 Pro. My mom's 12? Didn't work. Magnet not an option. Which is why they include a metal ring with 3M adhesive. I'm a 3M fan, they make quality products. I foolishly was looking for a way to adjust to be level. Duh. Twist the camera, and the top of the camera is level. I was wondering if the magnet would be strong enough? It is! And you know when it connects. Also, I didn't experience any events where the magnet is SO strong it pinches you. Nice balance of usability and safety. Push on the bottom to release the tripod (where it says, "Push"). The metal (Yes, Metal) support arms slide out and work well. I felt the base was sufficient to put the phone at any necessary angle, and it would work as expected. The base is really sturdy. Again, great balance of not too big, not not too small either. If you need to point at a table, then you'd have to use the front camera, which is not as high of a quality. At the same time, you'd be close right? Which should be sufficient to the task. I found myself hoping that there's be a way to hang a battery until I realized that an hour consumed about 20% to record in 720p. I don't know if recording at higher values would consume more battery. I could have turned down the brightness, and gone "airport mode" if I wanted further battery savings. I had a long cord (lighting to USB for the battery I was using. That would have easily reached the ground. As a videographer I noted that there's not an easy way to turn the camera (if you're following someone in a room) ... you'd pretty much have to left the whole thing, and turn the base. Gently set down when rotation achieved. Which is what I did. It's sufficiently light. I wouldn't want to do it a bunch. Definitely going in my mobile bag! ... show more

This tripod is perfect for taking pictures for my blog. The remote control works very well and I haven't had any issues with it so far. Also, it is easy to put together and take apart. It's also easy to store which is good for those living in small spaces. I recommend this item.

I was never a selfie stick guy, they seemed unnecessary but I have long arms so I wouldn't need one. However I gave this one a chance A) because it's magsafe and I like magsafe and B) it can be used as a tripod as well. Something I wished we had whenever I'd go on a trip with friends where there'd almost never be any random people around to take a photo was a random person but with this selfie stick, you can unfold it to make a decently sized tripod. Now all of us can be in the picture instead of having an odd person out. Now because I have the selfie stick I have used it a few times to get some awesome wide shots and now enjoy having it whenever I go anywhere where'd you'd want to take pictures. It's easy to carry around. Only thing I'd like to have is the ability to turn the mount so you could take a selfie with the back-facing camera. You can still make it work for most pictures but if you're trying to take a selfie using the back-facing camera you are not going to be able to. ... show more

I'm not much of a selfie person but I thought having a compact ultra portable tripod that could also work for selfies would be convenient. I was hoping it the remote would work for my Galaxy S23 Ultra, although that phone also has a remote built into its stylus. Android support was not called out in the product info. The good news is that the tiny remote that comes with this 100% works with my phone. This is really more of a necessity if you are using this as a selfie stick since the remote button is conveniently located on the grip area when using this as a selfie stick. Detached, the remote works fine when using this as a free standing tripod so that you can trigger photos or video from a distance. The remote pairs up to your phone without any added software which is nice. Just hold down the remote button until it flashes and then go into your phone's pairing mode and select the Ulanzi device that should show up. The magsafe mounting securely attaches my heavy phone without any issues or concern. The tripod works fine provided you are using it on a stable surface. This is more important when using it extended to longer lengths because most of the weight will be your phone sitting on top.
