    • It's perfect for events photography
The price could be a bit lower but it does its job very well so It's not that bad. Getting the rubber thing onto the flash was hard and we needed 2 people to get it on our AD200 and V1. But because it's hard I don't think it will come off easily. The dome is great, good quality light and diffusion, I use it mostly for events and weddings but starting to use it more for Real estate photography as well since it's pretty diffused. Should have include the honeycomb grid or CTO gels in my opinion with this price but that's fine ... show more

I'm a wedding photographer and I had wanted MagMod for a long time! I love the ease of the magnetic that attaches the diffuser to the flash. The attachment that goes onto your flash is very secure. It was great way to properly light dancing scenes during the reception.

Simple. I love it. Fits on my AD200 Pro (with a little muscle when putting on the band). I use this for weddings and portraits and it works very nicely to diffuse the light. I have a couple other modifiers for my AD200, one being a softbox (26" octagon) and the other is the AD-S2. What I like most about the MagMod is the size and ease of use. It's small and portable, and I can hand hold the AD200 while I shoot. If I'm getting too much direct light, I just aim it up or use it as a bounce. Very nice for run-n-gun. It can be used with my godox flash on camera flash as well, so I can swap it around as needed. In the photo, I used it in a dark wooded area with a stream to fill because the subject was backlit. Combined with the AD200, it's a great modifier and will last a long time. ... show more

I'm a photo journalist and have to work fast using my flash on camera. THIS modifier creates beautiful light and only took a week of practice to adjust to. No more harsh hot spots on skin and lovely catch lights. The only problem is the magnet sticks to everything and is hard to take on and off my Speedlight. The sample photos were taken on a dark overcast morning and the Magmod really made a difference. ... show more
