This is an excellent general purpose blender. It has enough power to liquify, even though the blades are left intentionally dull. It's a steal for the price. Some people will feel it's just a cheap blender at their first impression because it's plastic, including the top, but it's designed to be extremely lightweight and trivially easy to clean. In other words, the more you use it, the more you'll like it. By the way, some people have complained that it's junk and that it burned out its motor on the first use. That's not what's actually happened in the majority of these cases. The blender has an automatic shutoff to keep its motor from overheating, in case it has been left running too long. Simply give it a few minutes to cool, switch it back to off, and on again. ... show more

Much quieter than my previous blender (different brand). It blends quickly as long as you use enough water. I like that it's plastic so I probably won't break it. It doesn't work as well as the smaller Magic Bullet, or maybe it just needs to be more full. But since I generally use it to make a single 16-ounce protein shake, I haven't yet found out whether filling it closer to capacity will make it work better. I am one that enjoys experimenting with my dishes in my kitchen. In order for me to do that, I was in need of the right blender to blend my wet marinating seasoning, but I was not looking for something to big nor too small. and when I came across the magic bullet, at first it’s aesthetic Beauty caught my attention, but I hesitated for a while before purchasing. Because even though I didn’t want anything too big too small or something of a high cost, I wanted it to work well. When I finally purchased the magic bullet,it arrived a week before Thanksgiving, I said to myself that the first try with this blender will be to prepare the Thanksgiving meal. I was truly amazed. This little blender is definitely powerful machine and the texture of the blended product that it leaves behind is magnificent. With a very smooth and creamy texture.The cover for the blender mug is ideal, especially with the removing plastic cap that allows you to pour your oils into your blended products. I bought this hoping to love it. The size is perfect and it breaks down to clean very easily. It has suction cups on the bottom that I could do with or without. Here is my issue - if you are buying this to make smoothies, this is not for you. The blades are not sharp enough for ice. They will chop it, but not to smoothie texture. I've also had to deal with air pockets, so I have to stop the blending to break the pocket and start again. I bought this because it has a larger capacity than my Ninja Fit Compact Personal Blender. I was getting tired of having to make two separate batches to fill my 20 oz cup, however I'm probably still taking the same amount of time because of the air pockets. If I hadn't already thrown away the box, I would have returned it. I've tried searching for sharper blades, but that doesn't seem to be an option. ... show more
