I have not yet opened my made in nature figs. I must however comment that they were previously not available and i purchased 2 other brands. Needless to say, I ended up requesting a refund for those other brands, and waited for Made In Nature to offer them again this season. They are very expensive and I was told this wasn't a great year for figs, but i went for the extra $$ and know that i will have a wonderful product. The price should come back to normal in the fall. The figs are clean, fresh-tasting and moist. They do not weigh anything close to 7 ounces--more like 3 ounces. However, I ordered a small bag of figs and I got a small bag of figs, so I will overlook the discrepancy in weight and order them again. I tried a reviewer's tip and microwaved a fig for 5 seconds. It did not plump up, but microwaving it made it very moist. Also very hot, so be careful. ... show more

Take note this is the smaller bag! I was under the assumption I was getting the bigger bag and it was a small bag for $10. You can get the bigger one for $10 in grocery stores.

    • I have never really been a fig eater, but I tried them for health benefits and they are excellent!

These figs were moist and had a great texture, without being gross and sticky. They are sweet but not too sweet, and great for snacking and adding nutrients and fiber to the diet. I could imagine they would add great flavor to recipes. They are organic and unsulfered too, which is a big plus.
