But this first order I received was in great shape and did not have any tears, worms, or white due to dryness. The figs were very moist and fragrant. The bag did not want to seal back up for me so I decided to vacuum seal them in the meantime. They are really great, I had a fig recipe I used. They taste great and fresh. It had been a while since I've even tried figs, so long in fact that I don't recall if I like them or hate them. So, it was a small gamble buying these but I had just read something touting the health benefits of figs, and I figured, why not? I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but ... I was. These figs are top quality. Very fresh, plump and tasty with a nice texture that makes them easily enjoyable. I like that they're sweet but not because there's a ton of sugar added. These are definitely not for me. If you're someone who loves a sugar bomb and texture of banana, these figs are it. To me they're way WAY too sweet. And I hate gummy goopy sludgy textured food and these are definitely that. Actually I'm confused, these are supposed to be "dried" figs but are way too wet/moist to even be considered that. If you're like me who prefers figs that are semi sweet with some texture and slightly soft, then go for mission figs instead. ... show more
