I had my doubts at first but this helped with our first night after my pup was altered. It's smaller than expected and also a different color. Still fit and helped get him through the night without access to his surgery site. No glowing in the dark happened sadly.

I always feel so bad for my dog when she has to use a cone of shame. The regular plastic cone is hard because it completely blocks her peripheral vision. Recently I tried one of the soft-covered inflatable rings. It was easier for the dog, but terrible for ME. Blowing it up was ridiculous. I don’t know why they made it so hard to blow air into the inflatable but I should have gotten an air pump (except that I needed to get it on her quickly). A couple of days later I saw this item on Amazon and lights and bells went off in my head. This item is a big flat disc with a head hole in the center. It is floppy, like a flying disc, and covered with a soft fabric, like flannel. The hole has a locking string to pulls it closed so your dog can’t get it off over its head. This is the perfect answer, at a good price point. Great value for the money. Would recommend. ... show more
