I got this surgery suit because I work from home and can watch her throughout the day. I sized down instead of up because I didn't want the suit to be baggy. It fits great! I shared pictures of the pre-spay try on. She's not a fan, and tries to bite the straps by her bottom. I think she will get used to it. When we were at the vet a couple weeks ago, she weighted 11.5lbs (born sept 15, 2023 so 5&1/2 months). She is a Havachon (Havanese/bichon friend mix). I ordered a size small, I was worried about the zipper bunching, and it does a bit but not enough to bother me (and it would).Also she will be getting a short haircut at the groomers so it will be looser. Overall it seems like good quality and I like the velcro straps around the waist to tighten it up. The velcro is pretty strong and stitched on. The zipper was easy to get up and down around a squirming puppy. Hopefully this review was enough, I tried to think of all the questions I had. Good Luck! Just an update, the purple suit was great. As I was putting the pink one on, to switch them out, the seams tore. I don't have another clean one, I only purchased 2, I am handwashing, so she will have to wear this for now. I am hoping to get this returned and hopefully it gets shipped to me fast so I can use it. This is only day 2-1/2. Wish me luck! Haha! ... show more

This worked out great after my Sara had her surgery and an incision on her stomach was well protected from the environment and from her licking at it, she had no problem doing her business and receive many compliments while walking at the park the Velcro straps make it very easy to adjust Along with the zipper it was very well designed ... show more

I like the fit and ease of putting the shirt on. Worked good for a couple days but then she figured out how to get it off. It stretches out after a while and gets kind of loose. She did get some blood on it but it was easy to clean.
