I got this to use for my older Boston terrier since she likes to wander the house at night and get into things. It’s just pops up easily and has zippers all around with mesh being breathable. I put a big fat pillow in this, and put it in my cat’s outdoor enclosed patio. She loves sleeping in it. As far as a traveling kennel, it’s quite hopeless. You can’t lift it up, with kitty inside. There are no handles! The bottom definitely needs to be more reinforced if you do manage to carry it to the car with kitty inside. I bought it for travel. It fits well in the backseat, but moving it to and from house or motel room is nearly impossible. I’m going to have to purchase a better soft kennel for her to travel in. They do make them. We have a mini schnauzer and ordered a Large size so she is comfortable. I put in a small dog bed in there and she has room to stand if she wants to. We love that it packs up easily (we have not fully mastered the twist and fold technique :)) and fits even in my tote and is very light. We used it for our travel when we stayed at airbnbs and hotels (we put her in there at night so everyone sleeps and she is not roaming around). It fits our needs and lifestyle very much and even brought another one incase it wears down or rips, but ended up replacing our metal one with this one. This was ok but not great. It ripped easily from my dogs claws. It’s pretty flimsy and like thin tent material. I got it as an easy substitute for her regular crate that I could move around the house while I’m working at home and just have a quick place to put her when I can’t supervise her. She’s just a puppy still and not completely house trained yet. She isn’t always happy to be crated, and this easily flips over when she protests, or rolls around or lays up against the side of it. She ends up rolling around the house in it. It came with stakes to hold it down but I can’t exactly use them in the house. So I don’t end up using it often. It was easy to set up and it’s a good size. But I don’t find myself using it much because it’s so flimsy. I feel like she’s going to hurt herself rolling around in it. Our dog has an injured ligament on her back leg and I wanted something that would help confine her but was soft so I could put it on the floor near me but pick it up and move it around so it was near me. I can even put this on my bed. I just laid a towel on the bottom and put it on a soft surface like carpet. It popped right open but I can also fold it flat. I prob would not leave her in this when we leave the house. The zipper closure is very flimsy and I'm sure if she wanted to she could chew her way out. In her case she needs to be confined in something I know she can't escape from when we are not home. I especially liked this because of the large size. I wanted her to be able to stretch out flat and have plenty of extra room. She is a 17lb westie but I think this would work for larger dogs as well. When I put it down I put her towel in it and a couple toys and she climbed right in. She really seems to like it and so do I. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We loved that this is so easy to fold up and store. We live in an apartment and there is not much storage so this is a great option for a kennel we don’t need to have out all the time. Perfect for a tiny kitten. Fostering a received 3 week old through 6 or 8 weeks. Would be too small for anything older than that.
