The media could not be loaded. There are more pros than cons, but first I WOULD recommend them for cute easy lights for a patio/porch area. Pros: They are really light and set up was very easy. They have different settings as well making it look different for every occasion. I purchased it for my patio for my husband’s birthday party and it set the mood for sure! Cons: They said that lights were waterproof and I haven’t seen it “fail” but one day it rained and it never turned back on automatically like all other weeks prior. Luckily, my husband turned it back on manually. It’s rained a few other times and it still -ultimately- works but my husband would have to manually reset the lights. (We’re not 100% sure if it’s because of the rain or if it was too gloomy that the solar power function didn’t allow it to charge fully) Either way, that’s the only issue we’ve noticed so far. I’d still recommend and it better than getting battery opportunity lights and having to change it out as often. ... show more

I mounted the solar panels in full unobstructed light and still after a full day charging in open sun they do not light up very bright at all nor do they last very long. I chose to keep them versus return as my main goal with the lights was a vibe and not necessarily functionality. If you're looking for a light source, might be better off with a different product. Although they work and the solar power makes it nice when you don’t have an outlet nearby, the bulbs are very small and unless you use a gazillion of them, they are not going to light up anything larger than a kid’s play house. ... show more
