First of all, these look really good. They legit look like fire with the realistic flicker. Just be aware that these are VERY small. Much smaller than a normal outdoor light. Additionally, the stands are made of very cheap plastic and can easily snap if you’re not careful putting them in the ground. With that said, I paid $60 for 16 of them and they look great in my yard. We place these along the perimeter of our front yard at Halloween. They are the perfect effect we want and work as represented. REMEMBER - there is an on-off switch located under the cap. My only complaint is that every once and a while one does not work, possibly due to a bad internal battery.

I purchased mine 1.5 years ago, they worked beautifully the first summer I had them out, I brought them in during the winter months, I brought them out for summer number 2 and only a few of them work, I will admit the top where the charge comes though, the solar panel is foggy, I don’t know how I could’ve prevented this, and if it is the reason they aren’t working, I was obsessed with how beautiful these looked but with them having such a short life I don’t know if I will purchase more, also they are plastic, and they usually break where the light meets the base and due to the design It makes it pretty much impossible to repair, electrical tape can be used but not on these. ... show more

These lights worked immediately--read the directions and switch them"on". They provide very warm orange glow. I Love their look around my pool-they flicker like torches. And they are sturdy. They just made it through a hurricane and they are the only lights working! :)
