These knobs are such an improvement, my wife says that it’s like having a while new range! The LG range has held up pretty well, except for the original knobs. They broke within a year or two, and their replacements from LG were just as flimsy. The plastic part in the back would crack with little or no stress, and fall off or just not work. After years of coddling the replacement knobs, I saw these, and hoped that they were sturdier than LG’s handles. They hold securely, and they’re so sturdy, there’s no weak point that could break. The finish is a little glossier than the range itself, but they fit in really well. My wife thinks I’m the hero, but whoever thought of making and selling these did a great job. If you were to go to LG's parts website, you'll see that one of these knobs costs the price you'll pay to get all 5 here. Further, they are 2x as durable considering they DON'T use the cheap plastic connector piece, instead they use continuous stainless steel to reinforce their D shaped connector. 2 or 3 of these D shaped connectors was broken off on the stock set that came with the stove. Further, along with a thorough burner head cleaning (wash in hot soapy water and dry thoroughly to ensure no moisture) this fixed 3 of my igniters not lighting or being finicky. The fit was snug, which is good to ensure they don't come off easily, and perfect for my LG range. This is a great fix and replacement for corroded knobs that have twice the life and durability of the original, not to mention they look and feel great too! Very happy with purchase! Initially hesitant, I decided to try these stove knobs and was pleasantly surprised. They're not only more durable but also more visually appealing than the ones my stove originally had. After using them daily for over six months, they still look as good as new despite heavy cooking. Unlike my old knobs, these are easy to clean and don't hold onto oil residue. Three years ago I replaced the knobs for my stove. It was not that old and they had all broken. I could only find them through the manufacturer and they cost me $50 each! Lo and behold within six months they all were broken again. We have been using one of them to turn on all the burners. I was so frustrated. I bought this set of knobs for the same price I paid for one! The best part is that they are metal on the inside and not cheap plastic! While I have to give props for these knobs holding up for a year (while I never used my broiler or self-cleaning, and bake very little), alas they have finally suffered the same fate as my original knobs. Any moderate or high heat coming out of the oven will cause the foil on these to wrinkle and the plastic underneath to crack. Aside from being unsightly, now it’s just a matter of time until the foil begins peeling off. Bummer. ... show more
