  • Great for cutting htv and vinyl
Color: White
The media could not be loaded. Works very well for cutting vinyl and the design space is top notch. The print then cut feature is a good size but can be a little confusing to figure out. However I sent an IM to the company and they were very helpful. It does not work with png files though.

  • An Allegedly Decent Cutter Cannot Survive A Braindead Software
Color: LOKLiK Blue
I apologize for the length. I just want to be as transparent as possible with my advice not to buy this item. I eagerly bought this cutter to help with my personal prospects of selling my art online as die-cut stickers. Wanting to look for a more budget-friendly option in case the device didn't work, I bought this cutter at a 60% discount... How naive it seems now. I had read reviews that while the design software included was cumbersome, it did its job well with accurate precise cutting and thus, I had my hopes. Set up seemed very reasonable at first and I was more than eager to begin. However, a problem arose when the printer I had purchased separately was not given the correct cord for it to function. Figuring I could use that necessary cord that had come with this cutter, I tried to unplug the cutter and plug the printer so I could use the print-and-cut feature. This however was all for naught as it would not let me proceed with printing without having both devices simultaneously plugged. A bit inconvenient but everything has its flaws, even something so minor, hence I overlooked it. So after picking up the necessary cord, I was more than ready to begin. The software's failings... reared their ugly head. Laying out my designs was not as easy as most of the tutorials I had watched had made them out to be. Most of these tutorials were made using an early version of the software and I for the life of me could not find any tutorials pertaining to the latest version I was cursed with. (And despite my searches, I could not locate and install an earlier version.) Yet I managed after quite the trek of learning the software on my own, tiresome but still, nothing I was unfamiliar with being a user of many softwares for all types of media creation. However, when all was said and done, machine calibrated, stickers printed and laminated, ready at long last to be cut? "Failed to read registration marks." So pulling up LokLik's guides, doing every step possible to make sure these marks could be read? Those deceptively simple border lines around my designs that could be seen from space? Zilch. No die-cut stickers for me. And the real kicker? When I figured I could hand-cut this batch like I had a few times before, the residue on the included cutting mat, intended for secure precision for the cutting process? Tore apart the back of the sticker sheet, wasting what could've been a salvageable batch for my shop. My last straw. Which, even if the argument can be made that you can just reasonably peel off the die-cut shapes from the sheet of paper? What about a die-cut sheet of kiss-cut stickers? Are those just doomed to the same fate of being torn into shreds? Overall, my short stint with LokLik was a honeymoon phase that gradually turned into bitter resentment and eventual betrayal. As ready as I was to give a brand I'd never heard of a chance, that chance was not worth the hours of meticulous setup and Google searching, even for the bargain of $70. I'm probably better off borrowing a dusty old Cricut from my great-aunt. Cheers. ... show more

  • Great Cutting Machine
Color: White
My old Scan -N-Cut was no longer working so I decided to give this one a try. It's great! Easy to use. The program that you download is super easy. Connects either via WiFi or you can use an wired connection. The cord that came with it didn't work but I had several extras around the house and they worked fine. I use my older Microsoft Surface to connect and cut. I could not find any colored pens that would fit so I had to order them from a company overseas. I tried to contact customer service but never received a response from them. I received the colored pens very quickly and they work great! I've made several vinyl cuts for my grand children that worked fine and I've made several Christmas cards that turned out great since I already had all the SVG files that I needed. I would definitely recommend this cutting machine to anyone looking to buy one. ... show more

  • Cute Little Machine!!!!
Color: LOKLiK Blue
The media could not be loaded. This was a doozie. At first, I was really unsure about buying this Machine after reading some of the bad reviews. But honestly, it just takes a bit of trial and error, and following a few key steps to get it working perfectly 1. Expect to mess up a few times. It’s part of the process, so don’t let it get you down. 2. Reading the Instructions. Seriously, take the time to read the manual. It has some great tips that make everything so much easier. 3. Firmware Update!!!!This is a game-changer. Make sure you update the firmware before you start working on your real project. It fixes a lot of the issues people are complaining about, mine updated from v.07 to v10 4. After updating it, calibrate the machine!. Super important for alignment and to get everything working like how it should. After following these steps, I absolutely love my Loklik Sticker Machine! It’s actually better than the Cricut in my opinion. It takes time to set up but completely worth it. ... show more

  • Nice Concept, Has Potential, but too new, not much support, too many bugs with software/firmware
Color: LOKLiK Blue
The machine has potential, it did cut, the software could use some major upgrading, but I could work around that if needed, the biggest issue I Had with it was I was never able to update the firmware or get it calibrated correctly. I followed the instructions to the T and even tried the "flash" version to flash the firmware update, however that would not work either. To update anything you have to plug a cord from the machine to the computer, but even though the software recognized my loklik and my pc, the firmware would just never update no matter what I tried. I sent my first one back, got a second hoping it was just an issue with the first machine, however the same issues with my second, so I am returning it sadly. I really hoped this would work for me, but unfortunately, it didn't. The machine has potential as I stated, and I believe in time, when the bugs are worked out and there is more support available, this might be a great machine at an affordable price. For me right now though, I found a used Cricut maker and purchased that, so for now, all good. The rest of the transaction, shipping, returning etc, was five star, I just can't rate this cutter a five. ... show more
