One holds the pods (about 30) and the other holds the scent booster beads (a 36 oz bottle with room for more). I just open the lid and easily grab a pod. And I bought a long handled coffee scooper, so I could just open the lid and scoop as much scent boosters are I need. The containers fit perfectly on the white wire shelves used in closets and builder grade laundry rooms. They don't take too much room width wise, so I have room for the fabric softener container as well as the spot spray bottles. The tops securely lock and the hinges will probably last a long time considering I probably wont' have to open them to refill. Refilling through the hinged lids works fine. The hinged lid opens easily, but is still very secure when closed. When opened all the way, they stay open. They arrived quickly and a coupon was included. ... show more

I wanted a container to fit my Huel powder so I don't have to fight with the bag every time. I wish the containers were opaque, so I am considering painting them so the light can't break down the nutrients. Currently I store them in my pantry so they are out of the light. My only real complaints are that they don't really stack - there is nothing to keep them from sliding off, and the flip-top doesn't form an airtight seal. It's good enough for my use, but I did notice that after a while the powder seemed to cake a little, indicating that some moisture got in. I bought this for soap storage in my kitchen. The 10 cup is perfect for my laundry pods. I got the 8 cup version for my dishwasher pods at another retailer because it was insanely overpriced here. I’ve had them used them for a few months and they while they work for my non-food storage, I wouldn’t buy them for that purpose AT ALL. No matter how many times I push the flip top lid closed, every time I got to get something out of them the lid has popped open! They have never been through the dishwasher, so can’t say it’s from warping that way. Luckily, for my use case, I don’t really need them to stay closed, since they’ve stored in closed cabinets. But, if not the case, I’d be really disappointed with this purchase. ... show more

    • Opening needs to be a bit bigger but otherwise a good container

The opening flap needs to be larger, but otherwise the container is nice and it does seem air-tight, so long as you're careful to close the flap properly each time. I use it to keep borax in the laundry room and so far it's worked well for that.
