I say those two things specifically because the smaller one fit exactly 2 eggs, half cup of egg whites, & a couple links of sausage and it was filled to the brim! I did not mind because it all fit! and it’s still a very nice, good quality container though. The larger one can fit just about any lunch or dinner meal! and obviously these are great for just food storage in general, not just meal prep. These came very well packaged. The containers go through the dishwasher like a dream, leaving no watermarks. They are heavy, thick glass. I drop stuff a lot, so I'm handling them carefully.
