AC does cool my small room. It’s making some odd noises, that are very distracting as I am trying to work. I noticed there is styrofoam in the inside of the AC. Wondering if this is what’s causing the noise.

I don’t know what the next higher BTU is or whatever but go with that one if you need it noticeably colder in order to be comfortable. Worth the money so far with out summer getting into the triple digits for the majority of the summer, and me bein very warm blooded, I still had 3 floor fans running. Again, WORTH the money.
