Arrived fully assembled. The navy colored metal canister goes nicely in my blue bathroom and the slim design makes it easy to store behind the toilet. I really like the inner, hard plastic sleeve that holds the brush and collects any remaining water in the brush, easy to clean. The brush bristles are firm and do a great job removing hard water stains in the bowl, the handle is easy to grip and maneuver under the rim. The brush and handle is not a one piece system, the brush can unscrew and the handle above the cap can pull apart that being said there is a possibility that if you use it too aggressively it may fall apart. I ordered this matte, navy-blue toilet bowl brush and holder because my current brush and holder had started to rust and look nasty. When I saw that this toilet brush holder has a removable liner inside, I knew I wanted this set. I like that it will be holding the toilet brush and offering some protection to the outer container. I get squeamish around toilet brushes and holders just because they can get pretty nasty, but I feel really good about this brush and holder. The holder is very sturdy and doesn't fall over when removing or replacing the toilet brush. One of my bathrooms has an open container with the brush and it constantly falls over, I can't stand that. I will be replacing it with one of these toilet bowl brush sets. The lid to the holder stays on the handle of the brush and protects you from water splashes as you clean the toilet. As for the toilet brush, it felt stiff to me and I didn't think I would like it, but it is the best brush I have used. The handle doesn't bend out of shape as I insert it in different areas of the toilet. The bristles aren't too stiff to tackle going into crevices that other brushes couldn't. I really like that the brush isn't scratching the porcelain like my other brushes have done and I love that this brush actually gets the toilet bowl clean without giving me a workout. The handle on this brush is shorter than the one I had but I believe it helps give me a better grip on the handle. I just feel my bathroom feels cleaner with the brush hidden away inside its holder, so I am going to recommend this toilet brush set. ... show more

The brush untwisted apart so the tip of the bush seperated from the bottom half of the brush. You can twist it back but after 1 use it came apart. I would expect better quality.

I was delighted with this, because it’s so discreet, and a bit smaller than I expected (so even more discreet), and it’s weighted at the bottom, so it will stay in position, not fall over. The container itself is metal, but I was happy to see that it came with a plastic liner, which can catch any water that drips off the brush after using. The brush itself is built into the top of the container, and the lid sort of acts as a guard against anything that might splash up while using. The bristles are quite hard and strong—a pretty stiff brush. I think my preference would be slightly softer, but this will definitely attack any stain you might have on the bowl, and it’s a good size. ... show more
