The mat stays in place and does not move, its smooth on the feet and little bums while still a non slip surface. It’s easy to clean, just pull it off, scrub it, and put it back on. I purchased the clear mat for my white tub. I like the he clear because I can tell when it needs to be cleaned. There was no odor when I opened the package. Just the normal faint rubber smell. Small, soft on feet, drains well, adheres well to our acrylic tub. Easy to clean in shower, if you want. Grey does not show too much dirt like white or black. So far, it’s a winner.

Honestly I was super excited to get this. The good drainage what mainly what I was looking for. Opening it up it felt soft enough I wasn't worried, but using it right off my feet feel super sore and tender afterward. I feel it wouldn't be as bad if the extra grooves were not there and maybe just soft cushions instead. Probably replacing this sooner rather than later sadly. ... show more

This is larger than the "standard" anti-slip mats, and it is reassuring to have more coverage. And the design is a huge improvement: the surface texture ensures traction, and yet the gaps allow it to drain faster- it stays clean longer. Excellent design!!

It served its purpose...kept from slipping in the shower but even though I rinsed thoroughly and took it up each time and placed a ceramic stool each time, it got moldy in 3-4 months. Maybe the fact that I folded it in half is the reason for the problem. Even though, it worked until I replaced the shower floor. ... show more
