This is not the most comfortable Tub mat I have ever used but it is the safest and cleanest mat I have had with my tub having a textured surface. The last one I used, moved every time I did so that was scary. The one before that was the most comfortable and didn't move, it was the loofa kind, but it held soap and hair got tangled in it. It was impossible to keep clean. If you did pick all the hair out and rinse the soap out, it could still get musty because it was soaking wet and way too heavy to hang. So that makes this Curlable mat the ideal mat to feel safe and feel clean with. After rinsing it off, you can form it in a circle and stand it up in the tub...leaving everything to dry out. ... show more

This is an interesting shower mat. I don't think it's really designed to be as comfortable as a traditional shower mat. I believe it would be better served as slip protection in a locker room, outside a sauna or hot tub, next to the steps in a pool area, etc. It does not STICK to the tub floor like the kind with suction cups, and can be moved around with your feet if you want to reposition it, but it's very easy to clean, seems very well made, and it's a lot better than a slippery tub floor with no mat at all. It's not the most comfortable to stand on for longer periods of time. However, it does provide great slip protection when getting in and out of the shower tub. I like the strips of rubber grip this has on the bottom, instead of the suction cups that collect water and cause stains that have to be cleaned quite frequently. Overall I'm pretty pleased, but the plastic feeling strips this is made of might not be for everyone. ... show more

I initially used this in a shower tent that was used long-term during a remodel. It has proven to be very durable. It was great for ensuring that there was a surface with good traction to stand on that drained well and did not trap water. I love that it doesn’t have suction cups at the bottom. That avoids all the water and dirt build up under the mat. The only problem I have which is probably user error is that I didn’t cut the sides to perfectly fit so it rubs against my tub and moves, which caused it to leave scratches/black marks on the sides. I have been searching the internet for one of these that will 1. Have proper drainage 2. Not slip around on the floor on a textured shower 3. Not have suction cups 4. Be a non slip surface 4. Comfortable Unfortunately this fails on 1, 2 (somewhat) and 4 I could have gotten away with 2 by fitting 2 or 3 of them side by side so they don't slip with a snug fit, and maybe fixed 1 by cutting some holes at places in the rubber below it, but the thing that caused me to return it was the lack of comfort. After a few days it felt like you were standing on metal wires and the edges would dig into your heels. Had I kept using it I was worried I would end up with lacerations on my heals. Sadly this is the closest thing to being useful that does not use suction cups to adhere to the floor and was hoping for this to work, but it didn't. ... show more

I was happy to find something modern looking and grey. However after 4 months it has started to crack all over. For reference, my husband weighs 165 lbs. The quality is poor and this is a huge disappointment. I do not recommend this product as it is not durable.

I like it for stability and don't mind that it is a little like a reflexology treatment on my feet. My wife finds it too uncomfortable to stand on. I’m losing this battle and looking for something else. Fits good, rolls up easily and cleans up nice.
