Bought this for a 2018 Ram. This system is NOT plug-n-play nor easy to install. It does not mesh well with the truck's operating system. It works but not as advertised and it is just a pain in the butt trying to get it to work with my iphone and my truck. Very disappointing because it looks good but does not function so well. Good luck reaching customer service for help. All Linkswell needs is an authorized installer but I believe Linkswell is a "FLASH IN THE PAN". They will churn out crappy products with the blessing of Amazon and just disappear with all of their ill-gotten gains. ... show more

    • Perfect. Needs tinkering out of the box
So starting off with the install. It's tedious. I wish there were some instructions that focus on your particular vehicle... Or any instructions at all lol Once I had it installed, I had 0 confidence it would even boot up, but it did, and was able to control everything it advertises. Initially I had an issue where my dual zone climate control would not be able to be controlled. However, following their vehicle specific guide of going into settings, system, setting guide and car model/ac, I was able to change it to the RAM/HIGH setting which (after cycling the ignition) gave me full control again just like stock. Going to have to test long term if it holds up in high/cold Temps and direct sunlight but my initial impression is way better than expected. ... show more

    • Needs some work but is a good product
Takes some time but installation is not too complicated. There are some good and helpful videos that show the process. My input is: take some time to upgrade the firmware and the apps to latest versions to get the system working fine. The Zlink app that came installed caused Apple Car play to have a huge delay on phone calls to the point it was impossible to hold a conversation. Latest version of Zlink in Linkswell website solved the problem. I like the fact that specs are true, and the features they say you retain and the ones you loose are correct. Bottom line, this is not a product that will operate perfectly out of the box, but if you spend some time setting it up it will be a lot better that the original equipment in your truck, no matter what it is. ... show more

    • Buyer Beware
First I will say, this is actually an awesome unit. I'm very happy with the product. What I am NOT happy with is how horrible customer service is and how poorly the install manuel is written. My unit was not powering on and I couldn't figure out why, then after a a few youtube videos I noticed 1 guy say you have to plug in the little brownish box that comes with the kit into the wiring harness or you will get no power. Either way, I got it all working and I'm happy with it. Customer service sucks though, bad. If I spend $1300 on your product, answer your damn phone when I call about it. Also, do not get the protection plan, it's a waste of money. I called them for help and they didn't even know what a Linkswell was, and ultimately all they said was they will transfer me to Linkswell, who did not answer. They were also extremely hard to understand, I had no idea what they were saying, they were from India or something. Had no idea at all what they were saying. ... show more

I installed mine about a month ago and I love it. Everything works just perfect Just the warranty it's bad because i bought it from a third party they give me one month I hope nothing happens in the future

    • It's east to install, just plug In the harness to the right plugs and determine your AC type
The unit was nice but I couldn't use the GPS , the ZLink wouldn't start when connected to my phone, I cleared the history multiple times like the rep showed me but it stopped at connecting but never would connect, I purchased it for the Navigation as described but found out later I had to purchase the license for $150 and download it to the unit, I sent it back, I would love to have one that works properly with the GPS navigation already loaded. ... show more
