I almost sent these back because they don't quite fit in-between. My oven and countertop are different heights. Now, I just lay them in place. They completely block food from going between the stove and counter. When I'm finished cooking. I easily move them to the sink, wash them off in seconds, and replace. When company comes for dinner, I'll likely move them out of sight----but they look good enough and do their job just sitting there. No more drippings alongside the stove! I am very pleased!! Great buy! Update: We had company over yesterday. I left these strips in place----my stove and counter top both have black in them. They looked fine! This product has really grown on me. You do need to remove and wipe down approximately once a week, but they are easy to clean and super easy to get right back in place. Wish I had bought them a long time ago! We knew that food and liquids could run down the side of the range and so we looked on Amazon for a fix and saw these. They shipped fast and look great.
