We have 3000 sq foot home and live in TexasStan with moderate winters, and the house holds heat rather well. Once the sun comes out we don't need the furnace running all day. Our main living room is 15x 25, plus a kitchen and office dining room space adjacent. Two of these units can easily warm the entire space from 64 to 70 degrees within an hour during the morning hours. We seldom have to run the main all electric furnace. 1500 watts draws about 7 amps, so you have to have them on different AC outlet circuits. It fairly quiet, stays cool on sides and bottom. Love the remote. Not having to get up to adjust or turn off. I love the built in thermostat. Very accurate. I recommend this one for the price. I have an Eden pure. And this is very close to it but much cheaper

    • Great "little" heater
This heater puts out a great deal of heat for its size. I don't find the noise a problem...it's a heater. The elements heat up and cool down thus a small noise. I don't have heat in my house so I have 2 heaters that warm a room of 14x26. My only negative, its so small/short. If you just need to warm your feet this is for you. I put mine up on a table where I can feel the warmth better. Not having wheels makes it safer to place it one the table. Overall it's a great heater and I'm very pleased with it. This is the 2nd year I've used this heater without any decrease in heat output. I'm sure I'll use it next year as well. 4 stars because it's so short. ... show more

Gets the downstairs warm pretty fast and I have a large area for it to cover. I would diffently recommend this heater. It does have a slight plastic smell but only first time you use it.

It's not an actual infrared heater. It's not very warm, it is less efficient than a normal space heater. Definitely not worth the price. Not even close.

The media could not be loaded. The design of this infa-red heater is stable for protecting the infa-red heating rods and is not easily tipped. You don't need to worry about being burnt because the heating rods are recessed in the sturdy case. The unit has an ambient air sensor in the back and an automatic thermostat so when the room cools down the heater will turn on. Once the rods turn off the fan will continue to run pushing the warm air out into the room. The fan can be set on High or Low. Because this reliable I can leave and not worry about returning to a cold room. The only thing that you need to do is sweep the floor in front of the heater because the air intake is located in the front base of the unit. To avoid dust disturbances I sweep the floor near and in front of the heater every couple of days. Not a big deal considering how this heater is a real work horse. I leave this heater on 24, 7 and use the remote to turn it down a few degrees at night then back up in the morning. I am very happy that I bought this toasty warm infa-red heater for the main room in my home! 👍 ... show more
