This stoneware set of dishes is gorgeous from the styling to the color. I was a little nervous ordering the aquamarine color because sometimes shades can be a bit vibrant. Every monitor will show the color a little different but it’s a softer shade than the more vibrant way my monitor displays and the blue has a touch of green. I’m also enjoying the updated styling. The height of the rim makes it easier to scoop up food without having to chase it around the plate. The size of the dinner plate is huge, making it perfect when having large meals, like holidays and potlucks, when I want to try a little of everything. For everyday use we’ve been finding we can put a small salad on the dinner plate and not worry about dressing running into other food. On the other hand when we have big salads and a couple of small sides then we use the salad plate for sides and the cereal bowl for a big salad. The size of the cups is generous, which is nice since I use a heavy dose of creamer, and the stoneware also holds the heat quite well. The bottom of the pieces does have an unglazed rim so the set should be used with a placemat. I’m really happy I decided to give this set a try. I thought the price for this set was excellent for the number of pieces and the features from holding heat to being microwave or dishwasher safe. ... show more

I love this app. It is so sturdy so strong. I love the color. I love that the way that the plates are made. I love the way. The bowls are made. I even love the way that the cups are made. It’s a nice set. I love everything about it. The appearance is very nice. Size is very nice. This is top-notch quality dish set. I will definitely recommend something like this if you like steady sturdy hard plates and dishes. These are the ones best for you. These are not used every day these are only used on special occasions, they are more as a fashion or a style statement but I will. I have used them before, but everybody don’t get to eat off these plates. Everybody don’t get to drink out of these cups. This dinnerware is very nice very elegant. The size and shade are perfect for dinner parties or just a table set up especially if you like to keep your dinnerware on the table as decoration. I think this is perfect decor. The quality is great. It is not a bright white but more like an off-white with gold trim. I like that it’s stackable and everything fits perfectly together. It washed well. I use the mild soap and warm water and it was perfect. I did not put anything in the dishwasher. I hand wash everything. This is gorgeous and sets a place on my table for 4. It comes complete with soup bowls, small "serving plates", and nice large plates which take up a majority of the table space; space isn't an issue since only three use the table, so the photo is showing all of it - as much of a small table like this is able to seat. The package was structurally sound and all of them arrived in good condition. I've received stoneware from other companies that make me question how any of them arrived in-tact, but these came better packaged. The bowls stack high which isn't really an issue, especially soup bowls, but I have plenty of room in my cabinet for them. The fact they look so good will keep my rating. The set went through two dishwasher cycles, so far they haven't compromised their structural integrity, but I'll keep an eye on it and update if there is an issue. Pretty satisfied 5/5 ... show more

I have never had beautiful place setting before so I was very excited to get these. I had 3 kids and never would risk them breaking what I had paid good money for. I definitely think this is a good value. You get place settings for 4 and I am IN LOVE with them. The stone look is exactly what I like , they are durable, with the brown ribbon all the way around. Bowls are the right size for a side salad (even though there are salad plates) I always use a bowl and can never find the right size. Either too small or too big. Dinner plates are big enough for a large dinner if you make all the side & what not and I’ll use the smaller plates for dinner rolls or desserts. I will give them a good washing before use and let dry thoroughly. I’ll update after a few uses, and report any other thoughts ... show more

My wife has a few obsessions in her life – stoneware serving plates, shoes, and purses. All of this to say, she knows her way around dinnerware and while we don’t entertain, I’m sure we could open a restaurant with all the various sets she has collected. Truly, we even had to expand with a third cabinet hutch to properly display them all. This set stacks right up there with some of the higher end ones she’s purchased from name brand stores. Its only significant drawback is that it is a set of 4 and she likes to have 6, so we’ll have to order a second one. The color and appearance are reminiscent of the Magnolia brand that she just can’t help herself but to buy whenever she sees a new offering. They were well packaged, sturdy, and are going to be in the regular rotation for our weeknight dinners. ... show more

This stoneware set is beautiful, and the design and color are gorgeous, even though the advertisement said the stoneware was blue. (I received off-white) It looks very high-end and elegant. I liked the sizes of all of the plates and bowls—not too big or too small. The plates and other dishes are very durable as well. I tried to place a couple of items in the dishwasher, and they held up well. I recommend this stoneware set, but better communication is needed between the seller and Amazon fulfillment.
