First of all, the price of this charger is pretty reasonable. That's like, the first stand-out feature. The fact you can sometimes score this for <$200 is just amazing. But in terms of being a great portable charger? This may sound counter-intuitive, but I much prefer a 110v portable charger than a 220v portable charger. Is a 220v charger faster? Yes, of course. But I can find a good 220v outlet maybe 20% of the places I go (friend's houses and so on). However, I can find a 110v outlet ANYWHERE I go. So, yeah, a bit slower, but...WAY more versatile and, shall we say, "portable". The display on this is a bit small, but luckily the information presented isn't too detailed and thus it isn't too hard to read. Frankly, I'm just glad it HAS a display, many just have a light that changes color. You can see all the pertinent details on the display here, such as charge time and rate. My actual advice is to have 2 chargers...a 110v for "I can charge anywhere" convenience, and a 220v charger so you can get the most out of your charge time when you have access to an outlet. But if you have to choose only 1 portable charger, this 110v charger is an excellent choice, because you really can use it anywhere. 5 stars. ... show more

Extraordinary item and conveyed quick. The charger came and works precisely as depicted. Extraordinary purchase for the cash and less expensive than getting it from the vendor. Extremely simple to set up and introduce anyplace. This is an extraordinary item and definitely worth the cash. What I like the most about this reduced Tesla charger is that it is advantageous. The group recollected clear and unequivocal rules for how to use the charger and it was incredibly direct. Just put the side of charger into the vehicle and connection the far edge into the power source. This charger is exceptionally helpful to convey in the vehicle especially when you are branching out to far off districts which probably won't have the super chargers expeditiously found in populated locales. The flyer gives how much miles tied directly to how long the 'charge is associated with the connection. Best to leave it charging for now to get a full charge ... show more

    • Only one issue!

The cable works without issue. I got this one after my original cable went bad. I have a 220 setup at my house that I installed when I moved in. That's the only issue I have with this cable. It doesn't provide the same 220 hook ups that the original cable does. It will plug in for a 120 trickle charge -- which is SLOWWWWWW. But in order to use 220, because it's not the same as the OEM, I will have to spend money to change my receptacle. When I got this the price wasn't much lower than the OEM price. If I were to buy again, I would probably go OEM straight from Teslas - just so I could continue my current use. With that said, if you don't already have that installed -- this may be a perfect fit for you. It is made well -- and works. THANKS ... show more

With our growing stable of evs we comes more chargers. I like to have a level 1/2 charger in the frunk in each vehicle for just in case charge ups. These charger is top notch and gets the job done. 16Amp output slow yet still beneficial. 20ft cord is always a plus as the 16ft sometimes does not reach desired locations. Nice charger. Works perfectly right out of the box. There was no set-up, just plug and play. The button on the "charge head" worked the way it should to open the charge door on both my Model S and my Cybertruck. For me, this charger is a good choice for keeping at home since I just use standard outlets (for now and for the last 12 years). I will now be keeping the Tesla chargers in their respective vehicles should I need to charge on the go in standard, and others up NEMA 14-50, outlets. I'm happy with this charger. ... show more

It's a great kit that comes with a longer charging cable along with all of the necessary adapters and a very nice carrying bag so that everything fits nicely in your car.
