I can't say enough good things about this set of dishes! They are absolutely beautiful. The colors are deep and rich and look very expensive. They are heavy and thick and an excellent quality. I tried to take a picture but it just didn't do them justice. We ordered 1 set to try and loved them so much we ordered 2 more to make sure we're had enough for the family plus company. Despite what I felt was excellent packing, the third set came in with one cracked plate; this was definitely the fault of the shipping company, as the box was crushed on one side. I contacted customer service and they were excellent. It was very refreshing- good old fashioned customer service!! They responded almost immediately to my message and sent a replacement the same day (I received it 2 days later). Then, they followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I wish I kept this item (I had to return it because my family thought it would be a brighter/more "white" than cream), but in the future, if they're still selling this, I'm definitely going to repurchase it. I loved, loved, loved the quality of the plates and bowls when I held them. Not too heavy, not too light, just right. The brown is such a rich color that complements the creamy interior/exterior. I also loved the tapering at the top of the bowls that is so subtle you can't really see in the photo, but it feels great, and you can tell it's quality craftsmanship. ... show more

These look just like the photos. They are heavy (which is good IMHO) and are beautiful to look at. They stack amazingly well. The only thing I don't like is that the lip isn't as high as I'd like and so you need to be careful with the gravy and such. Shipped quickly, arrived very protected.

Ordered 2 sets of these plates for a dinner party. They are gorgeous. When they arrived three of the smaller plates were brken. Sent a picture to customer service and they offered money back or replacement. They sent me 6 small plates to make up for the broken ones. I highly recommend these plates.

I bought this set in blue for my son to have for his first apartment. They look great. I love that they are durable and even oven proof. Many options to add pasta bowls and other pieces to the set later if he likes.
