It does'nt have a thermostat but it has a timer starting at one hour, which is the one I use to heat the room up then it shuts off. I bought this to use in my bathroom in the winter to avoid cranking up the heat for the whole house. I place it in my 8 x 12 bathroom for about 10 minutes and then take my shower. I can step out of the shower and not feel like I stepped outside. The key features are the timer that defaults to 1 hour and the great one of cooling down when shut off. Very warm, easy to move as long as you're near an outlet, small and relatively quiet. Great value for the money. My only disappointment was one photo said 70° oscillation, which is misleading. There is no oscillation, but the air coming out of it is 70° wide, making it great for corners. Not a big deal as everything else is as advertised. 4 stars. ... show more

From most reviews they said well for small spaces but honestly it heats up even living room and kitchen area very well. The room heats up quickly and stays warm the two heat setting are nice mainly I use the one heat set. I like the efficiency of the count down to cool off and turn off it prevents over heat also if it has been on for way to long it shuts off by itself perfect for the occasion of if you forget definitely comes in handy. I live out in the desert so the night wind during this December definitely does get to you but this heater is perfect for combating it. Happy with purchase. ... show more

I'm impressed. I use it in our 67sqft bathroom and it warms up the whole 300ish sqft bedroom on H1. Yes, there's no temp control only levels and a timer. For what I paid and the heat it's heating...it's a win. It doesn't oscillate either, which is fine too. Have not exceeded H1 since it does so well. ... show more

It does put out a lot of heat for its size. That being said, it needs a variable thermostat instead of a hi/low switch. It actually gets my office too warm on the low setting and I will have to turn it off for a little while.
