The media could not be loaded. First of all, if you have been flying 2 channel planes up until considering the is purchase, let me just say…This plane is way more complex and capable. At first you will be confused at the controls coming from a 2 channel plane. This plane flies through wind with ease (thank the gyros). You can fly this plane just like a real jet. Take offs and landings take time to master but anyone with an understanding of basic aeronautics can achieve this. It’s very fast, can fly straight and stable, provided you have the space to do so. I have personally found that glueing the landing gear in place is much more durable and reliable. It handles crashes well, I have bent two propellers from being full throttle as it crashed. Most of the time the props bend back to normal, or if it’s bad enough just replace it with one of the few props included with the plane. I’ll never go back to a 2 channel plane again. This plane will be the next step to upgrading to EDF planes. Even having flown an EDF Jet, I’m very impressed with the capabilities of this plane. Battery life is 5-10 min of intense flying. I have flown this plane in 15mph winds and handles extremely well considering how light it is. A warning alarm will sound once the battery starts getting low. And you have more than enough time to line up for a smooth landing. I’ve personally gotten this plane as high as 500’. I’ll definitely buy a few of them for friends to fly. It was a struggle to get the hang of this rc toy and I'm still not the best. It is really quick and alot of fun. Just make sure you've got allot of fly space no trees out 6 obstructions. Love it tho

It is fast and it fragile I am a beginner on planes have a couple heli but this was decent for the money it was fun what short time it lasted they do give u glue but when the piece breaks connected to servo there is no way to fix and that's where it could be better put some kind of material to hold the flap besides the Styrofoam cause it is a moving part ... show more

This little plane is a ton of fun for the money. First of all, it is nearly indestructible. There are 2 batteries and a USB charger included, and the charger tells you when the battery is fully charged. Battery life is much better than a high performance EDF jet. There is a gyro flight mode for beginners which actually works pretty well in light wind (5mph or less is probably best). The controls are a probably a little too reactive for a first time flyer, but if you have a preteen that’s good at video games they can probably handle it. There is also a vertical mode which makes the plane mimic a drone, including the control scheme. You can fly it in a living room in vertical mode once you get the hang of it. In the unrestricted mode (3D) it is capable of 3D maneuvers, and an experienced pilot can really have fun with it. It also has a locator beep and flashing lights of contact is lost so you can find it easier. ... show more

This plane is very fun, however, it will not last. It didn’t make it past a couple of flights without having things break. Of course, skill is required. My son is skilled with these types of things, so it wasn’t operator error. The company replaced it without issue the first time. The second plane sent had similar issues, and the company didn’t respond to my request (still within a year of purchase, and it was only used a handful of times). ... show more

    • Great learner plane, tough, fun, inexpensive
I basically only ever flown drones. This is the first plane like RC I've ever got. I want to start flying EDF Jets and I needed to start somewhere. About a different jet that this has the one fan on the back and it's way too hard for a person who's never flown a jet before. This one however it's quite fun, you can put in that vertical mode and that's just like flying a drone so the skills translate nicely. And then you just click it down to the gyroscope assisted mode and fly around pretty easily, it's nice and stable and you can Bank it and get used to have a jet moves. And if you want you can turn off the gyroscopes, for me that just means instant nose dive. So I got this and I got the simulator on my computer and I'm kind of playing with both to get used to controlling a jet cuz I really want to fly one of those EDF Jets they look really cool.
