  • Durability and nose of plane
The plane’s nose kept coming off and the foam kept chipping. But flies well overall.

  • Don’t make the mistake I did!
The media could not be loaded. A review of the Leopmase F22 RC Airplane 3 Channel Remote Control Airplane Fighter Toy, Stunt Flying Upside Down,Two Batteries,Toy for Beginners Adult with Xpilot Stabilization System. This is a really fun plane to fly. Assembly is easy and takes about a minute. No tools or glue are needed. It does come with a tube of what must be glue. It is not labeled and there is no mention of it in the manual. The included 2 batteries are great because 12 minutes of flight time (6 minutes for each battery) flies by - pun intended. It also comes with 4 extra propellers. The lights on the bottom of the plane are neat. The plane is pretty easy to fly. The instructions indicate to adjust the horizontal and vertical stabilizers if the plane veers left, right, up or down. I’m not sure how you do this without breaking the styrofoam. The instructions recommend flying on a calm or breezy day. I would not recommend flying on a breezy day. I flew the plane in an open park when it was breezy with a low battery and the wind swept the plane away. I was not able to control it. The wind carried it out of my sight and I have no idea where it ended up. Tips: Fully charge batteries before flying. Don’t fly when the remote beeps indicating that the battery is low. You will lose the ability to control it and the wind can carry it away. Don’t fly in a park with houses nearby. The plane can quickly fly outside the perimeter of a park and before you know it, you’re flying over houses. A wind could cause your plane to land on roofs or in trees. Write “Found this?” “Please call (your number) if you find this plane” - on your plane. That way if it does land in someone’s backyard or elsewhere, you might get a phone call from the finder and recover it. The $60 price tag (at the time of this review) seems a little high for a piece of styrofoam with two motors, however there are similar planes for sale for a little more and also a third less. Although I lost my plane after about a minute of flight time, I do plan to order another one since I enjoyed the challenge of mastering controlling it. ... show more

  • Crash resistant, dog resistant. Easy to fly but make sure you have plenty of space.
We have a somewhat large back yard, so I flew this plane in our back yard, while also entertaining the dog. The plane was relatively easy to launch - just give it full throttle and toss it into the air. The plane has two motors and no movable flight surfaces, so all control is done by varying motor speed. You can 'trim' the controls by bending the rear stabilizers upwards. I found that mine wanted to turn in one direction on its own, so expect that you'll be shaping the rear stabilizers often. I should point out that this plane is very forgiving of crashes and other misadventurs. During my time flying the plane, it got stuck in trees, crashed several times, and even grabbed by our dog a few times. It is definitely no longer in pristine condition, with a chunk of foam missing from one wing tip, tooth marks, and a tear on the underside. Nevertheless, it continued to fly, requiring only adjustments to the rear stabilizers. The manufacturer helpfully included a tube of glue for repairs (similar to Testors model cement). My plane has survived a rough first flight, and is ready to fly again. I will say that you will enjoy this much more if you can find a large open space such as a park or field, where there are few obstacles to hit. Also, it might struggle with a breeze, so save it for a calm day. Finally, this is an inexpensive plane, so definitely do not expect hobby grade flight. ... show more

  • Easy to set up, fun to use and surprisingly resilient
I took this product out to a nearby field with my four year old son and had it up in the air in no time. It was fairly easy to control and my son even had a few turns (I did have to grab the control from him a few times to correct the range). It actually can get quite high and go quite a distance at full throttle. Thankfully we were on a large mowed field. The product is made from foam and is quite light. At one point I accidently flew it straight into a light pole. It bounced and fell to the ground, but was undamaged. Back in the air right away. The main battery (there are two) was easy to charge up with a standard USB-C 2amp charger (not included) and one charge gave is quite a bit of flight time with multiple take-offs and landings. The remote requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). This product was a hit with my son who was giddy with delight when playing with it and I had fun too. I'm pleased that it survived our first round of play despite some abuse and is still flight-worthy, ready for another day. One caution is to keep your fingers away from the propellers. At one point I glanced one of them with a finger. My finger was okay, and the propeller was okay, but it was felt. You wouldn't want this near a face. But that is normal for this kind of product. Since we were playing with this in a grassy field, it was untested for hard surface take-off or landing. I just threw it toward the horizon and used the remote to keep it aloft. Landing in mowed grass was a bit of a sudden stop, but it did okay. I'm looking forward to playing with this again and I know my son will love it next time we take it out. Heartily Recommended. ... show more

  • NOT FOR BEGINNERS
I have bought 2 of this item. The first I gave to my grandson for his birthday and on the first flight he lost control of it and it flew into the next county and was lost forever. I bought another thinking I would learn how to control it then give it to him. On the first flight I lost control of it and it went far away into the woods to never be found again. I believe there is a problem with the controls on this plane and do not recommend wasting your money on it. The exact thing happened with both planes. ... show more
