I needed a mattress pad in a pinch after going to three stores locally and couldn’t find anything. This fit the bill. Please note it is not a mattress topper. It is a mattress pad but there is a nice fluffy loft. It appears well made, including the fabric, stitching and elastic fitted part. It fits great on the mattress. I washed it before I put it on the bed - because it is bedding. I had no issues washing and drying it. It did wash it on gentle but spun it out on highest setting.     • Add a Little “Plush” to Your Life!

Let me preface this review by saying that I spent a few nights with the mattress topper before writing my review, so that my review could be accurate. After moving across the country, one of the biggest (and most unexpected) adjustments was to our new mattress. It was too firm for my liking, and I could feel the pressure on my hips & shoulders. Thus, I turned to Amazon for a quick fix! When I received the product, it was packed snuggly in a vacuum seal bag. I let it “puff up” for about 24 hours, then manually fluffed it. The mattress topper was a breeze to put on my mattress. I was able to do it myself in about 5 minutes. It fits our queen size perfectly. I was pleased to see that the elastic bands around the side have very generous pockets. My husband tosses in his sleep, which often times pulls the fitted sheet off. Not with the mattress topper though! I will say, however, be sure that your fitted sheets can accommodate the extra height added by the topper. The mattress topper has made our bed more comfortable & I feel that my slumbers have been better since purchasing it. It may not be plush enough if you have an extra firm mattress, but it adds just enough “fluff” to make our memory foam mattress feel like a cloud. My only comment regarding the mattress topper is its claim to have a cooling effect. While I wouldn’t say that it is cooling, I don’t think it makes me sleep any warmer than our gel top mattress. My husband sleeps like a furnace, but he hasn’t said that the topper makes him any warmer. Since we live in toasty California, we use a single fuzzy blanket on our bed & it keeps us cozy all night! I have yet to wash & dry the mattress topper, but it feels sturdy so I have no worries that it will be fine! To summarize, if you are searching for an affordable mattress topper to add a little “plush” to your mattress, I recommend this one! However, if you are specifically searching for a topper with a cooling effect, I may search elsewhere. Overall, this topper fit my needs & I love curling up on it each night. Bought 2 of these both in King size. They’re really nice and well made. At\fter you first unpack and it starts expanding it takes a while to get it’s shape. I hung it outside in the sun for several hours after unpicking to get it fluffed up and fresh. It fit on a 13” mattress perfectly with plenty of material to fit under and it holds well and doesn’t slip around or slide off the corners so it would work well on thicker mattresses too. This is over a 3” latex pad (which has its own cover) and it provides coolness and feels like a pillow top only softer. So far it’s held its fluff very well and doesn’t separate or ball up in the individual chambers. Washed it 2x and it comes out like new. Also, it stays light from the washer and isn’t all bogged down with water making it easy to handle and dry. Excellent buy and recommended. ... show more
