This leg press/hack squat machine has been the last missing piece of my home gym puzzle. Now that it's setup and I've used it for a workout, I'm happy I made this purchase. The machine came in 3 separate boxes, each item was bubble wrapped and numbered. The numbers lined up to the instructions. The nuts and bolts to put it all together were grouped by "step" in the instructions, which illustrated where the pieces and bolts go. Overall it took about an hour for me to put together by myself, then another 5 mins or so to go back through and fully tighten each bolt. Assembly was good, all the holes lined up, no issues, you can tell this was a well thought out product. The bearings are slightly noisier than a commercial machine, but for a fraction of the price. Plus, you'll be listening to music or a podcast anyways. ... show more

My only recommendation is, the Instruction video should at least have captions notifying what stage it is in since that is the way the hardware packaging is labeled. Heavy boxes! I emptied the boxes in my yard and carried the parts to my basement. The nuts and bolts came in a blast pack numbered with the step they were needed. I put it together myself, though it would have been easier with 2 people. Excellent value for the money!

This leg press/squat machine does the job just fine. It operates and moves how it's mechanically supposed to and the durability and quality is there. Assembly was easy.
