TL:DR: product is good, I had a defective power supply but the seller made it right by sending a replacement part when Amazon wouldn’t. Update: The actual seller agreed to send a replacement power supply. This is great service and shows that they are knowledgeable about their products down to each party and how to fix them. Original review: - The lights work okay but have bad color accuracy. - The power supply produces a loud whine. Upon further research, this is likely due to the power supply not being high enough current. - I contacted Amazon regarding the power supply in hopes of getting a replacement power supply. Their only option was to return the whole product, which is a huge waste because the whole thing is adhesive backed and will be unusable, rendering it as ewaste after returning. - I tried to convince them to give a credit so I could buy my own power supply, and the best the could do was 20%, which is not enough to cover the replacement. ... show more

My room was small enough to do in one roll. If you're room is bigger, it is advisable to realize you should pick a middle starting point so that you can start in one direction and then continue in the other to try to meet in the middle. You cannot (read: should not) attempt to solder them one end to the other to "extend them". Installation was easy. I cleaned the area with water and let it dry. Make it easy on yourself, unroll a bit with the adhesive still on and hold it up where you want it. While holding it in place, pull the protective strip away and press the strip to the wall. This keeps you from having sections that are not quite lined up. Keep repeating unrolling a bit more and progressing down the wall while removing small portions of the protective strip until you are done. The remote is basic and needs LOS (it's an IR remote). If you are cool with using the app you can completely hide the power box as it uses wifi. Colors are a bit off (it's a cold white (closer to blue) but for the price, I wasn't expecting any sort of accurate coloring. Looks great and I love it! ... show more

They work as intended just be aware the connectors to connect the light to a longer chain don’t come as shown in picture. Bout two separate boxes of them and neither had the connectors so can’t give a 5 star. Also get the app way more control and color options than the remote

This is two 50 foot rolls with a single wall plug. There is a split adapter that connects to each roll so the rolls need to all be used together. They stick very well but after a mistake I was able to slowly and very gently pull them off in small sections at a time - only a few small specks of paint came off in spots that I was pulling too quickly or too much at once. The adapters from the ends of the lights appear that they can be plugged in either direction, but there is a difference and will not work if you have the 4 prong adapter plugged in the wrong way. We thought ours weren’t working, but when we unplugged and flipped the 4 prong adapter over, they lit right up. The only thing that I would change is a little longer plug to the wall, we have ours along the ceiling and had to use an extension cord to reach the wall outlet. The remote and app worked quickly and have many options and colors to enjoy. All in all a great product at a great price. ... show more

The lights work well so far. I had no issues putting them up; it just took some prep work to clean and dry the perimeter wall where it would be installed, to remove any dust. The only thing I dislike about the product is that the power supply brick tends to emit a high frequency whine / faint ringing sound if the lights are not at full brightness, and is worse/present on some colors more than others. I thought it was two individual rolls. Meaning I could hang one in a bedroom and the other in the living room. This is not the case! It is two rolls that is connected to only one remote and one plug in. However it works! The remote has all these cool settings, with all our fave colours! Gave a set of these to my nephews and they loved them! They are so easy to install and cut according to the length they need. The back is sticky and had trouble sticking to different surfaces, although i suspect that after being stuck on a wall for some time, you must be careful pulling them off, to avoid ruining the paint.
