  • High quality protective welding gloves
As someone who recently got into welding, I need all the protective gear I can get to make sure my training process goes as safely as possible. These leather gloves are thick, cover up all my arms, and have survived welding mistakes without an issue. They are comfortable to use and allow me to use a bigger range of motion in my fingers. With my other cheaper welding gloves, it’s hard to move my fingers at all. These are much better. They also look good too. The high quality of the stitches and material is evident. Would recommend! ... show more

  • Not too hot to handle now!
I'm a beginner when It comes to welding, I know your hands need to be protected too. Those sparks aren't just bright, they are HOT. The gloves are pretty thick, made of leather too.. finger movement is sorta limited with them on. I don't mind, rather that than having freshly cooked fingers, I tested these on a incandescent bulb, the ones that get hot. I was able to remove the bulb, while it was on without any issue.. Handling too hot handle things shouldn't be a issue now, I'm pleased with the overall quality of these gloves and would recommend it to anybody. ... show more

  • Decent fit for large hands
I have large hands so it's hard to find gloves that fit but these are large enough and easy to put on/take off. The quality seems good, material is thick and gloves are comfortable to wear. The one issue is that the material in the fingers is bulky - although they are brand new so maybe with use they will give more space with use. This is not a huge issue for me since I wear them for tending to fire in my woodstove/outdoor fire ring but it may be more of a problem for a welder who needs the dexterity... ... show more

  • comforable
got these to upgrade my several year old pair I got when I first bought my welder. They fit my hands well, protect well while mig welding, offer good dexterity and overall very pleased the few times I have used them

  • Poorly made and completely ineffective
These welding gloves are extremely poorly made. The cutting, stitching, and seams are uneven. Stitching is loose in places, puckered, or unfinished. Loose threads abound. One whole seam on the inside of one glove wasn't completed so there's a large hole. The suede sheds excessively. One area of piping arrived cut. Worse, the gloves are absolutely useless. Fortunately, my husband tested them on something mild (325 degree Fahrenheit metal) prior to using them for anything serious, because he could feel the heat easily through the gloves. Don't get these. They're lousy. ... show more

  • Nice thick gloves
These are nice thick welding gloves, and they're big enough to fit even if you have large hands. Only complaint I have is that there's a lot of material between the fingers right at the nook where the fingers meet the hand which is a bit uncomfortable, but I expect that will wear down over time. They also need to be set to air out a bit when you get them as they have a distinct smell to them. Over all I'm really pleased and expect they'll get a lot of use. ... show more

  • Nice gloves
Good, heavy duty gloves for working with high temperatures. I got these for working with my furnace while melting metals. I imagine if liquid metal hit the gloves, they'd probably be done for, but it seems like it would give me enough time to get the glove off and save my hand, so what more can you ask for? They're comfortable and fit my hands which are a bit on the smaller side for the average American male. ... show more

  • Bestarc MIG Welding Gloves - Solid Performance
As a new welder, I've found the gloves to meet my needs effectively. They work well for the tasks I've tackled so far. While I wish there was a bit more dexterity, these gloves seem to offer an average amount of flexibility compared to the few other pairs I've used. Overall, they provide good protection and functionality for welding beginners. ... show more
