My boyfriend had a cart like this and it was falling apart. He got a new one from Amazon and reinforced it with metal sheets. He loves it and it's strong and durable enough to carry wood from the pile outside and down a ramp into the basement. So far so good. The wheels are set right to correctly balance the load. I fastened a line from the front bar to the handle to keep the cargo area from spreading. The picture shows a full load if wood, but I am sure my full load of hardwoods exceeds the design weight capacity. The frame was a little twisted and made assembly a little more difficult. The cross bar would not align properly due to frame twist, and when I got it aligned it snapped one of the bolts. I have used it for several loads now and all is well. It is typical Chinese, "almost fits" type of construction, but is sufficient for the task, and at the list price. ... show more

    • Plastic hubs on wheels did not hold up.
Cart is very sturdy and easy to maneuver. The hubs on the wheels are plastic and did not last a month. Only buy if you are handy. Spent $40 on new wheels with metal hubs but the axle is too short do I had to replace that too.

It is easy to put together. Was concerned it wouldn’t be sturdy enough but I was wrong. Very easy to maneuver around on all types of surfaces. It also holds more wood and weight than I expected. I’m glad I purchased the cart.

I love this cart. It handles a good amount of wood and makes bringing wood in the house so much easier. If I were to purchase another one though I would buy the one with the pneumatic wheels (that's the one with the tires, not the hard wheels). *UPDATE*: After using this cart over the winter, when it got to 10°F and lower, the plastic on the wheels got brittle and cracked. Look closely to the center of the wheel in the picture and you will see the crack. I have to wheel this cart over a rock path my wife put in the back yard and it has to go up and down quite a few steps too. The point is there is a lot of different terrain that also helped cause the crack in the wheel. For someone else that doesn't have to wheel this up and down a bunch of steps and has a relatively flat surface, this cart will do just fine. But, if you have a more of a rocky or uneven terrain, get the cart with pneumatic wheels and a small portable air pump because you will need to air up the tires about once per month. ... show more

Had a nice woodchuck made in Vt that lasted almost 20 years. Price went way up, thought I'd try something less expensive. I bought this. made of cast iron. What could go wrong? Welp, It's not cast iron, just flimsy tube steel with an eggshell finish so it looks like cast iron. Thought it would be more like gas pipe. Nope. It came with no hardware and both tires were flat. A trip to the hardware store and $35 later I was in business.Also had no instructions, However , it was so easy to assemble Joe Biden could do it. At the end of it all ,it was over a hundred dollars. Should have returned it , but a snow storm is on the way , so that's how that happened. Don't buy it. Nothing but a piece of chinese garbage. ... show more

Not all the holes aligned - required drilling out holes in frame. Tubes in tires were not aligned. - required deflating, rotating, reinflating cross member with pre-drilled and tapped hole - required running tap down to clean threads. Actually larger then I thought. A Plus as I will bring more wood with each load. Frame tubing seems strong enough for load - will know by mid winter. The bolts and nuts (all nylocks) were not as indicated on inventory sheet - but worked for installation. Rack is not elegant - but functional. ... show more
