Make sure you know the measurements of what will work best for you! I put this hammock in my cart 2 weeks before purchasing. The distance between support rods varies from 5'4" - 5'10". It would be great for small stands.

    • Soft and Pretty Comfortable but Short

This is pretty nice. Very comfortable, better than rope hammocks I've used. The only problem is it is short. If you're 6' tall like me you will have to bend your legs. It was ok for my Mom so we kept it. I'll update on durability later if it fails to hold up. For now 4-stars.

I'm a bit of a hammock fanatic: I currently have 7 not counting this one and I use them all. I have spreader-bar types and cocoon types and use them with both stands and tree straps. I share this so you know I'm speaking from experience when I say this is an amazing hammock! It is legitimately the most comfortable hammock I've used so far: it feels like you're floating on air! The rope is the softest I've encountered in an open-weave style (almost slippery, though, so be careful with first use). The spreader bars do tend to slide a bit when removed from the stand, which changes the give and flexibility of the bed, so be sure to slide them down when re-hanging. I haven't tested the weight capacity yet, and I'm not risking leaving this one out in the elements, but will update this review if there are challenges discovered later. Helpful hint: put it in your cart and watch the price: it fluctuated quite a bit. Once it dropped below my target price I added to my cart, and I'm so glad I did! Even at the highest price I saw (around $140), I'd consider it a decent value. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! ... show more

I should’ve paid more attention to the measurements. This isn’t even close to fitting on my stand, didn’t occur to me that there were such big differences. I will say it looked great and I wish I could find the same style in a bigger size.

As many others have said, this is a wonderful hammock and large enough for people. It's well made and sturdy. I did have to find a longer stand for it than a regular sized hammock stand though. The rope netting is soft, but strong. Wide enough to fit 2 adults comfortably, but stayed strong for many uses by our teenage kids and their friends. We have tried and thrown away MANY hammocks over the last couple of years. They either get moldy, or the ropes break, or just get discolored and gross looking. This hammock is PERFECT!
