I was looking to be able to use a heat press at home because I work in a vinyl store with the industrial ones but didn't need one that big. I loved the purple, it seemed like a decent one that would fit the job! It does ok, I mean it's nothing to brag about but it gets the job done. My first projects were hoodies and there wasn't enough room to put the hood at the top close to the hinge also getting your fingers crazy close to the plate while trying not to leave the press marks in your hood, It was an adult medium. Then when you pull it off the bottom the pad wants to come to. I will be looking for a way to make the pad stay on the press better as it wants to pull up when moving the hoodie off the iron. I also figured out why the handle is on the bottom, I have never seen one like that before. It's purely because the press is hard to pull up on when you are done with your press, you will need to hold the handle when pulling up to open the press when enough presser is given to press the HTV on a shirt correctly. will I send it back, no because it's not worth the hassle? will I buy it again, also no. Do I recommend it, That is also a no. will it get the job done, sure.. watch your fingers and hope you don't need to press a hoodie. ... show more

    • Uneven pressure and bad design
Not happy with this press at all. Uneven pressing. Arm hits the base when you close the press. Just no. Only reason I didn’t return is that the box for thrown away.

I just received my machine the other day; I’ve only used it once. It seems to be sturdy. It was packaged very well and came with start up instructions. I’ll be able to give a thorough review in about 14 days because I’m about to put this thing to the test. So I’ll update later.

Nothing is worse than buying a heavy, new item and sitting down to use it only to find out it doesn't work. I never got to use the product because it wouldn't light up so that I could set a temperature. This happened right out the box.

I went into the with high expectations. I ordred this press becuase it looked well built, easy to use and I liked the color. It is very sturdy and pretty, but that's where my positive experience stops. 1. Does not have automatic timer, you have to reach over a hot press to start the timer. 2. Does not heat to desired temperature. I'm sublimating on cotton and had to jack it up to 390 degrees to get a FADED press from it. I tried all kinds of adjusting to no avail. 3. If you have to slide items into the clam shell expect to burn yourself, the design is poor in back and there isn't enough room to put even thin flour sack towels behind the plates. Also, see part about getting burned. 4. The pad that comes withthe machine is some kind of cheap, felt like-like material that EVERYTHING sticks to. See # 3 about burns again. I bought this machine to help me with a record busy holiday season. I'm having to stop... box back up, pull out the old press and re-install and wait on the new other press. Couldn't have happened at a worst time. ... show more
