Looks more like a safe, is really more of a good locking cabinet. I am dining a star for the support in back, not fully adjustable and mention of scope support. My first cabinet so now I know I need something deeper if I have a lot of scoped rifles. But I do like it, will keep the honest people out.

Super impressed with this safe!! Has got some good weight to it and is jsut what I needed to hold my 3 rifles and multiple pistols. Has spots to secure it down so it won’t topple over and keeps my weapons safe in my home. Very pleased for the price I highly recommend.

Decent cabinet for the money with a decent heavy door. The keypad works well. I lost the instructions, so I had to fumble around for a good half hour to set up my keypad. If you do not anchor this safe to the floor, it will fall over frontwards when you open the door so keep that in mind. I don't think the keypad buttons will hold up to years of heavy use, so touch gently. Key bypass works well. As far as a security score goes, it's a 3 out of 10. A hack saw or cut off wheel could get this open with ease. It's more than good enough to keep kids out if that's what you are looking for. It takes less than 5 seconds to unlock with the pad which is good for quick access. ... show more

This gun locker is a bit more secure/solid than I expected. It's quite thick and (at least on mine) I don't see it being easily broken into (not much space, for, say, a crowbar to be jammed into). A pro burglar will obviously easily get into this and it's obviously not secure from water or fire- but it's a $300 cabinet and is plenty effective for keeping kids and/or flash robbers out. The keypad is a nice feature and works fairly well. The inside of the cabinet is very basic- no shelves or gun mount spots. Also, in case anyone is confused when they get this- it comes with 2 different* sets of keys- one is for unlocking the cabinet door, the other is a set for an interior small storage box. At first you may think that you have the wrong keys, but the sets are indeed different and easily mixed up. Overall would recommend! A serious gun safe is like a 1k+ so... ... show more

1st, the door was broken. You can see one of the bolts is stuck inside the door and something was rattling in there. 2nd, soon as I opened the door the whole thing started to fall forwards. I understand it should be bolted to the wall but no way it should be this hazardous. I have friends with other safes and not a one will even come close to tipping when the door is open. I have to put a riser on the bottom to allow my carbines to reach the barrel support! The door needs to have something to keep it from being rattled back and forth when closed.
