Perfect right out of the box no assembly well designed! Easy to change the height, the angle of it, and fits in my recliner so my hands are much more comfortable. Battling carpal tunnel and this has been a great help. Two little clips on the bottom. Hold my MacBook Air laptop with a cover no problem. I can have it is angled as high as I want. The mouse holder is great for holding your cell phone / remote and having it not slide off or get lost wherever you are using it. We just got it but I love it.! Light teak is almost like a birch.
