Easy to install, has more option than the one I have in my new car. what I like so far: it comes with sd card automatically start recording, clear image. The media could not be loaded. I have an imported RHD kei truck that I’m trying to keep mostly all original so I didn’t want to change the head unit in it but needed CarPlay for music and maps. That’s where this neat little big screen comes into play! The touchscreen is very responsive, it boots up very fast and the wireless CarPlay connects almost instantly! My other vehicle has an Alpine wireless CarPlay headunit in it that was $1500 and the boot time and connection for wireless CarPlay is at least 20X longer than this unit. I really like the way this system works - connects to your phone and car audio, and gives you ease of use of Android Auto/Carplay, so you don't have to touch your phone at all. You get all the cable connections you need, and two different mounting options. The screen is big and bright, but there is some color bleed around edges, giving it the overall appearance of a "cheaper" screen. The dashcam is also a nice inclusion, but needs the option to tilt a bit more; I can't tilt it high enough to get my dashboard out of the bottom 1/4 of the screen. ... show more

The Carplay is very user friendly and easy to set up. Packaging was very done and the windshield mount I used on my textured dash pant due to limited space in my vehicle works awesome, I have been using it more than a week and still have explored all its features.

I've used my Carplay display for a few hours of driving, which worked as expected for Apple Carplay. As an owner of an older car, I love that this device gives me an always-on view of Google/Apple Maps and music control when I'm driving without having to directly use my phone. I have yet to try everything, but I have looked at the built-in dashcam, which has a few settings/features and looks acceptable for this price range (It's mostly a secondary feature for me).
