    • Works Nicely on LVP
We are working on building our first tiny house and finally put this cutter to work. We are laying 750 square feet of luxury vinyl plank, the miracle flooring that looks like wood but is waterproof and can be laid without leveling the floor. We have other rental houses and are used to making our edge cuts with a box blade, which just wears out your hands. This makes the process much easier....and faster. So far, we have laid 150 square feet in the bathroom. We know this would be more useful in the hands of a pro with the designs and patterns they make. We just start from the center and go outward until we reach a wall. I'm sure this would work on light trim and even thinner siding, but we haven't tried that. We do keep a rag and mineral spirits handy to wipe the blade after every 10 cuts or so to keep it free of gumminess. Is it a $140.00 product? Maybe, but not highly convinced of the value. I know there are cheaper versions of this, but haven't tried them so not sure if they are equal quality. We like this one, though, and will use on other projects. ... show more

If you are putting in laminate flooring in any home this floor cutter is worth the cost! It cuts clean so you do not have to worry about putting tape down before cutting so that you don’t have to worry about messing up the surface of the laminate. I also really like the fact that NAACOO sells replacement blades for this plank cutter. Many online sellers through Amazon do not support the consumable parts of their products. I detest that because you are stuck trying to find another one that fits your specific tool. That can be hard to do sometimes. The arm telescopes to give more leverage and force for cutting power. It seems to be made very well and heavy duty. It is also easy to operate. Overall, I have been pleased with this laminate cutter. ... show more

    • Awesome for 5mm LVP!
This tool made cutting my LVP a breeze. I was doing a big reno project DIY, and this saved me a lot of time and energy. I love how sharp the blade is, and it makes perfectly straight cuts every time. It's wide enough for even the widest plant flooring, and is able to cut through my 5mm LVP with ease. The blade does get gummed up after a while from the adhesives on the lvp backing, but it's easy to disassemble and clean. I used it on my trim and worked great for that as well, especially being able to cut at different angles. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to do flooring on their own, it's definitely worth the investment for the amount of time and energy it saves. ... show more

    • Great for cutting LVP flooring. Fast and easy. Saves TIME!
This is a great tool to cut flooring boards to length. Easy to use and made well. It should last through many rooms of flooring installation. I wouldn't say this is a professional-level tool that will last for many years of hard daily use, but it certainly will get the average homeowner through a house full of new flooring installation. The inclusion of a spare blade is thoughtful. When the first gets dull after doing several rooms of flooring, just change it out and keep going. Then go get the dull one sharpened so it's ready to go next time. The wheels are a nice touch, but not totally necessary. I've used it to cut LVP flooring, but not engineered wood flooring (which is thicker), so I can't comment on that. It cuts LVP cleanly and easily. You can even make butt joints with it because the cuts are very smooth with a sharp blade. I have another cutter that only makes 90 degree cuts. This cutter can be set to accurately do four different angles if you ever need that, so it's very flexible. Overall, a tool like this will make your flooring installation much faster and easier. Saves a LOT of time running to a saw or scribing with a knife to make every cut. And you WILL be making a cut at the end of every row of flooring. ... show more

    • It's reasonably effective
Largely an effective product and does a reasonably good job. It works well for me most part. It's able to cut engineered floor tiles of low thickness quite well though not as much as some of the other products as this is not commercial grade. Also, the width of the tile it can cut is limited which ultimately limits the rating too. The value for money is there too as the price is quite ok for the productivity it supports. It's fairly easy to use too. So far so good, will need to see how long it lasts and that will help determine durability. ... show more
