  • Cut through my padlock like butter
I had a stuck Master Lock M175 boron carbide padlock on my tool shed. This cut it off in seconds. I don't know what else I'll use it for, but it was cheaper than breaking down and repairing my shed door.

  • Stop fighting with regular bolt cutters, get one of these!
This battery powered bolt cutter is just what I needed! Here’s the reason why.... I love buying cabinet knobs from Hobby lobby when they go on sale for 50% off. They are always about an inch too long and stick out far enough that I end up scraping my arm against the excess threaded screw part. I’ve purchased a set of small bolt cutters but had a hard time gripping down on the threaded screw hard enough to break it off without causing some distress to my hands. When I saw this Karobi bolt cutter, I immediately checked out reviews as well as some YouTube videos before purchasing. I haven’t figured out how to cut the threaded screw area close enough to where the nut can still fit onto the back of the knob and keep it in place on the cabinet door without having a little excess left over, which is quite sharp. I’m using a metal file to file down the sharp end of the screw, making sure not to mess up the threaded area so that the nut will still fit back on properly. Unfortunately I’m not badass enough to come up with any other way to use this tool like cutting pad locks off of doors or such. I feel pretty vicious just owning it though and my battery stays charged!✔️ ... show more

  • Bolt cutter
Will not cut small wire. Must use OE battery only!

  • Should have bought this years ago
My parents cut tons of heavy wire and rods with a bolt cutter for their business. When I went to help and realized how much work was involved and how bad your shoulders and arms hurt afterwards, I wanted to find something else to do the job. This works wonderfully and has been a godsend. My parents in the last 60-days have thanked me 8-10 times for the gift. Guess the old adage is appropriate, I don't work harder, I work lazier. I just found a way to do the same work, but with less effort :) ... show more

  • Cuts bolt seals off semi trailers....but know this...
While we purchased this from another store (unavailable via Amazon at the time)....we can definitely say this is a Godsend! Using it to cut bolt seals off trailers when. But know this...it will take a few tries cutting the seal, like maybe 2 or 3 tries (hence the 4 star and not 5), you just have to try and cut it at the same location the second or third time, BUT it does work and is SOOO much easier than the big honkin' manual bolt cutters!!! The question remains about how well the blade will hold up....BUT we've used it about 10 times now and hasn't failed yet. ... show more

  • Blades no longer close all the way
I made maybe 20-30 cuts on thin field fence eventually it stopped cutting it all the way through I’d have to twist to get it to cut. Tried to cut some wire rope today and it wouldn’t cut through it. Looked and it appears that the blades no longer close all the way.

  • I use them 1 a day.
I use them 1 to 2 times a day, 5 days a week. Have not had a problem yet. Beats the hell out of bolt cutters.
