This is my third zero gravity chair. The first one was a Lafuma. This was years ago, and I had to let it go during a move. The second one was purchased from a hardware store. Don't recall the brand. My second Lafuma - old one was really old, used for outdoor deck chair. Long gone. This one bought for sleeping in due to back issues - I remembered how comfy the old one had been and was praying this one would be also. So far, it is helping. Tho I must admit I have added a 1-1/2” memory foam topper as the padding is a little too firm for this princess and the pea person. Cannot speak to the long term durability as I have only had it for a few days, but the old one lasted a long time. Only gave it away because I moved and couldn’t take it. I am old, 5’7”, and about 142 lbs. Long legs. It might be just a whisker too long but really not a problem. It arrived very quickly and the box only had a small tear in it at one flap. 10-weeks ago I bought this chair based on much research and I've been extremely happy with it until today. I straightened myself out in the chair the frame bent to where it is unsafe to sit in it now and it cannot be repaired. Amazing design snd no doubt the most comfortable chair (indoor or out) I’ve ever experienced. Unfortunately it was a gift for a tall friend snd his ankles hit the bar- very painful. We solved the problem with a yoga roller, some vintage fabric snd some strong tape, now all is well and he loves this chair! The first one of these I ordered never showed up (lost in transit somehow). The second one arrived quickly but one of the arms wasn't bolted together (easy fix with screwdriver), and it also had two right arms (assembled wrong from factory). I would expect a chair at this price to at the very least come properly assembled with the right parts. All of this aside, this is one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in! ... show more

These zero gravity chairs are widely available but if they’re not LaFuma you are getting taken. LaFuma innovated this chair and continues to make the best ones available. This particular chair is incredibly comfortable, the air cushion is plush. I actually use it inside and it is the most comfortable chair in my house. The clipper design assures that you won’t lose elasticity over time as you do with the cheap knock offs. I highly recommend this purchase but make sure it says LaFuma or you’re getting taken. I love this comfortable chair, but the cushion attachment mechanism is poorly designed and falls apart. I weigh 150 lbs, and the chair cushion is falling apart after only eight months of use.
