  • Do not leave the batteries inside
Style: Complete Printer Kit
This product is great and works fine all the time, I bought it to replace a previous LW400 that worked great until I left the batteries inside and they leaked acid. I tried to rescue it, even got it to turn on again, but it was not working. So, get the kit that comes with the wall plug, enjoy it, and put batteries if you need to take it with you, but make sure to remove those batteries before letting it sit for any length of time because you will forget and then remember that someone on the Internet warned you about this once... ... show more

  • Time saver / Nice and neat
Style: Complete Printer Kit
Found the unit to be pretty simple to use. It actually had some features that I wanted but didn't know were available on the machine ,ie...cable wrap. This was just what I need to label every cable in our Church sound booth when we decided to remodel it. It made it easy to get everything hooked back up the correct way. Much better than hand- written labels. ... show more

  • Works well.
Style: Complete Printer Kit
this label machine works well. It has a lot of options as to the type of labels and different icons that are available. The instructions that came with it did not explain all of the options available.

  • Most of the features of much greater Epson Label Makers
Style: Complete Printer Kit
I own more than a dozen label makers. I can tell a great one from a good one, and a good one from a bad one. The LW-PX300VP kit is a pretty good value at around $90. The rubber sleeve adds some extra grip and is a great addition to the kit. However, it has to be removed to swap cartridges or batteries, so if you do that a lot it might be a task. The mix of labels is far and above that what you would get with comparable label makers. In addition to regular type labels with a huge choice of colors, you can print on magnetic tape, heat shrink tube, and even ribbon. Max label size is 3/4" which is also larger than comparable label printers. About the only thing it doesn't do is QR codes. It literally has almost all of the advanced features of Epson's more advanced industrial label makers. On the downside........It prints kind of slow. On the upside the label waste is only around 10mm on either side of your printed label. Some label makers have up to an inch of waste on either end. If you want a label maker for home, that can perform a few extra tricks then the LW-PX300 is a great choice. ... show more

  • A full featured printing system!
Style: Complete Printer Kit
So if full disclosure, I have not used it much (yet). But I did receive it, try it and play with it. I got the one with the carry case and its very nice and sturdy, and holds everything including the instructions in one place (it has batteries but I also got the AC/DC power supply and AC cord). The printer itself was easy to load and use, contrary to some reports I read (dont know what they are complaining about). It also appears to not pad the print with a huge leader and lagger like other printers do (although it still has some). The printer has a rubber "boot" around it and I found this feels nice and gives you a firm hold on the printer and it also helps prevent it sliding on the table. The print was big and high quality on the trial labels I printed. The key reason I go this one is because it will print Heat Shrink Tubing! As an electronics lab rat this will make project SOOO much nicer with wires labeled ready to go. I have not bough any think tube yet, but that is on my list next. So this is just initial impressions, but I'm very happy with it thus far, and if you dont see a follow up complaining about issues, its likely that any issues I encountered were not significant (that is not a promise that I will update this review if I find problems, but if the problems are significant and piss me off enough I will update this most likely). So at this time, I find this highly recommended seemingly avoiding the pitfalls of there systems I read about, and so far meeting all my expectations! Lets hope that continues! ... show more

  • I Am so Happy with my purchase.
Style: Complete Printer Kit
Have you gone nutty reading all these reviews and umpteen different label makers? I have never owned a label maker, and I bought one label maker and returned it. It was so difficult to set up. I started looking again. This one is pricey, but worth the money. Save your batteries, and just buy the whole kit. You can plug it in and start printing. The cartridges are pricy, that is the bad thing. The cartridge contains 30ft of tape. The cartridges are by Epson, and that is why I purchased this product, I really like Epson printers. I like the box it came with, it had all the cables for the internet and adapter to plug it into an outlet. Take the rubber bumper off and pop the cartridge in, and make sure the tape is lined up in the guide. Turn it on and start typing. Go crazy, it is addictive and yes you can make chains. I didn't have any tape waste. A kid and teens would like this. ... show more

  • Great product, excellent support
Style: Complete Printer Kit
I had this almost a year before I used it. It worked great but I was having difficulty getting the font I wanted. I called Customer support and got a live human! We could not solve the problem so they sent a new machine. Same issue and I was convinced it was not the machine. I called again and was quickly assisted and problem resolved. This is a very versatile machine but I cannot recall ever having such great support. Thanks Christy (spelling?) and Melissa! ... show more
