I went on a shopping binge during prime days and this was a great deal. It’s lightweight, easy to use and clean but I failed to read the description thoroughly (I blame prime day excitement) and you can’t put ice in it. So as I was going to take out the box and start using it, I read the instructions booklet and I was devastated (a bit dramatic) that it said you cannot put ice in it. Well not cubes anyway…either way for me it doesn’t work so I’m sending it back. That’s the only reason I didn’t keep it. Update: after about 2 weeks of light use, it seems to be making a strange burning smell while in use, which might be a deal breaker for me. It occurs within seconds of use, and I never use it for a full minute (which is the max consecutive operating time). Very weird and unfortunate, because otherwise it’s a great (albeit fairly cheap) little blender. Original review: This blender is exactly what I was looking for—a personal blender that operated by pushing/turning vs. a button. I bought one with a push button at first, and it stopped working after one use. I had a NutriBullet for years, and wanted something similar, but simpler/smaller. I just use this for mixing protein powder shakes, so I can’t speak to how it would work with fruits/veggies, but it seems really powerful & the blades are sharp/sturdy. I do wish it was a little heavier—it’s all plastic, and I’m a bit worried about its longevity, but I guess that’s how it goes. So far, it’s holding up fine. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s pretty hard to push the blender part down and over to engage it and blend, but once you get it, it seems to get easier with time & use. Update 4/1/21: I got a replacement soon and I’m glad I gave it a chance instead of returning & getting a different one. I’ve been using this to make protein shakes literally every day, sometimes twice a day, and it’s been great. So I added a star. Given its small capacity, I blend a little and then add more ingredients then blend again and so on. Worth noting: it’s really loud. Original review: I first used this blender on 1/10/21. Just made some easy protein shakes, didn’t even put any ice in them, so at this point the blender is barely even “used”... then on 1/17, I pick up the bottle from the countertop and a broken piece just falls off. I never dropped it or bumped it against anything, no one else used it; I am honestly so confused as to how this could’ve happened. The piece that broke off is one of the 3 that go into the base and lock the bottle in, so the blender probably won’t work anymore if even one more of those pieces break. ... show more

Have purchased several different ones to make my morning smoothies. This is the only one I can count on. The others are tempermental and work only when fully charged or occasionally I would rather just plug the blender in and voila a perfect smoothie

Cheap, toy-like quality. Weak motor that was ineffective even with oatmeal based shakes. It failed within 2 weeks and would not run. I threw it away. Lesson learned. I got what I paid for.
