I’m a candle snob, I usually purchase Diptyque but they’re so expensive! But every time I try to save some money I end up with a candle that smells like nothing but wax. I’m glad I took a chance on this one. The throw is better than I anticipated and the Sandalwood/rose is a lovely scent. And it does look very pretty in my bathroom. I would definitely purchase again and I think I will try different smells, certainly more affordable than the others! ... show more

I own total of 10 La Jolie Muse candles - the beautiful Pine Scent (1) and my all time favorite - the Dark Berries and Bergamot (9) (heavenly scent). I use them with Candle Warmer Lamps because you will get more scent in the room than burning them. I have my candles since January in my kitchen and they still produce fragrance. Using the Candle Warmer Lamps is the way to go with these candles if you want the room to smell good. Everybody who visits my house loves the scent. I have 2 candle warmer lamps in the kitchen and 2 in the family room. They last forever with the candle warmer lamps. If you burn them - they burn evenly but you won't get much scent. You need to use Candle Warmer Lamps. The scents are heavenly. Highly recommend them with candle warmer lamps. :-) ... show more

This jar candle is very pretty. It looks nice sitting on a night stand or table and looks high end. It does NOT smell high end, however. I got the vanilla bomb scent and it doesn't really smell like vanilla at all. It has a sort of herby, almost medicinal, scent to it. It does not have much of a throw so the scent doesn't really fill the room anyhow, but I wanted a warm, sweet, rich vanilla scent and it just isn't that at all.
