This was a great bang for our buck and it fits our 90 lbs e-bike as well as our 75 lbs e-bike (not featured) that has a 5” fat tire. It tilts easily with the bikes on it, and my lift gate can open with plenty of clearance room to load and unload my cargo without having to take the bikes on and off the rack. We haven’t done a road test yet, so I’ll be back after we get more use out of it. Assembly was easy and it looks well made. I am super impressed with the strong Velcro straps that hold the tires in place. One assembly piece is missing for the part that bolts the upper arm in place so I had to take a star away. I’m sure we can rig something up with a bolt from the hardware store. It’s extremely sturdy and I can’t wait to ride our e-bikes on the beach or at the lake now! Yay! ... show more

This may be a heavy duty bike carrier, but it lacks a proper hitch fit (at least on my hitch receiver). The fit on my receiver does not tighten to my satisfaction, resulting in a loose, bouncy fit. It may be ok for some, but not for me. The adjustment to the receiver is also very inconvenient and hard to use. It needs to have a dial style tightening mechanism but instead has a fitting that requires using a wrench each time you attach it to the receiver. On my receiver there is a safety hook right in front of the attachment position which will not allow for the easy tightening of the unit. Other than that the unit appears to be sturdy and well made. If not for the attachment issues I experienced it should be a good unit. ... show more

I purchased this e bike rack and was very impressed with the quality of the bike carrier. The packaging is great. This is a heavy bike carrier (for 2 heavy electric bikes) that arrives in a cardboard box. It is packaged so well it would be hard for it to sustain damage in shipping. I assembled mine but the knob that you pull to tilt it down came off when I was taking it out to put on my jeep. They are sending me a replacement but, even with the malfunction of the knob, I still give it a 5 star rating and look forward to using it. ... show more

Heavy duty bike rack! I have 2 electric bikes that weigh about 90 lbs with battery and I have no fear in transporting these bikes with this rack. The rack came in excellent packaging with zip ties and foam for all components. My only complaint is that one of the Anti-scratch Pressure Bar is a little tough sliding up and down, but other than that this is an excellent E-bike rack. ... show more

Rack is really sturdy and holds both of my Lectric E bikes perfectly! I love the built in anti wobble system built right into the racks receiver end and appreciate that the bike hold downs lock the bikes to the rack. Overall, well design, study bike rack. However, due to the way they box the item, two of the wheel holders that were tied together has bent strap holders. I noticed it after I assembled the unit (I recommend 2 peopel doing this) so I decided to keep it as I thought it might be a minor issue. However, one of them looks like it may come off so I've reached out to the manufacturer but has not heard back. It sits further out back so it does not interfere with my access to the rear liftgate. It has a little play on the handle folding part but that's typical. It's a decent bike carrier although I think it's slightly overpriced. ... show more

My husband and I assembled the rack on his car and then tried to put the bikes on and our only one of our three bikes were unable to be put onto the rack. Very disappointing but there’s nothing wrong with the rack itself. Seems really nice and sturdy. Had to disassemble and return.

I really like the way it was packaged along with very good welds on it, also seems very heavy duty and the anti rattling mechanism in the receiver tube works great no need to purchase anything else. One of the main issues I had with it after I put it all together and put it on the truck that the control handle would not work at all. It would not release to tilt it or to fold it up after investigating it, I notice that the control handle would not pull back far enough for it to release out of the slot, and there was no way for me to fix it. Had to send it back now waiting for another one to come. Hopefully that issue will be gone. 09/23/23 A family member purchased the same bike rack because I recommended it after a new one came for me. And on this family members rack when put together found out that a weldment was not squared up correctly and when installed angled to the left, see photo. My suggestion would be. They need a better quality control to check all the components to make sure everything is square before welding. ... show more
