  • Poor product
I wish I would have read the reviews prior to purchase. Reviews are 100% correct. The product is crap. Horrible incomplete instructions. Missing parts, wrong size tools, wrong size bolts. I’m putting all the parts in a garbage bag and returning to Amazon.

  • worst craftmanship ever seen
where to start from ? everything is complete garbage. the worst - the attachment is so unreliable, you can easy lose it on the street. its not really foldable - you need to unscrew bolts to fold it holes not matching, bearings not fit in the wheels, easy attachment is not easy at all - too short axis. The nuts are 14mm, but it came with 13mm wrenches :) the axis is so soft metal, that thread got running with almost no force. and instruction ? - no such, 2 pages that shows nothing, and in the video, the guy as on purpose hiding with his hands what is he doing. omitting all the spacers. only reason not to return it is that is too bulky to repackage and deliver it back. ... show more

  • Assembly instructions
Horrible instructions. Our son bought this to use for his summer work he’s aspiring to achieve. He was so excited to get this up and going. He, nor I can figure out what goes where? They need to upload a video (or someone does) to help those who are at a loss.

  • Incomplete Instructions
I typically don't leave a review unless people should be warned. The instructions that come with this trailer are terrible and almost counterproductive. The price is fair, but I'd have paid more to know I could actually assemble it correctly. I have parts, screws for nuts that I have no clue on left over. Thankfully I won't be towing with this at more than about 5MPH. The quality of this seems like it would be adequate but the lack of ability to complete the job is madness. Amazon, please stop selling this crap, it's going to drag you down and we won't be able to find cheap stuff that makes sense. I'm tempted to ask for a refund but I don't want to have to send it back. I am updating my initial review and giving it two more stars for a total of 4 stars. The reason for the adjustment? Well I came back to view better pictures of the trailer so I could finish the assembly possibly and I noticed the assembly video that is posted on the advertisement pics, so I actually DID have a so called set of directions, I was just unaware that they existed. So that was completely my fault I suppose. If you decide to order this trailer because of the great price, you should be able to figure out assembly from the video. Watch closely at the wheel assembly because you will have to install the bearings, washers and nuts in a certain order, but once you have all the hardware out it should make sense. I didn't end up with all the correct screws that actually fit, so I had to go to ACE hardware to finish the job with around $5 worth of hardware. The place where the handle and jack comes together with the frame, had to be drilled out a bit better too, to match up where the screws go in. So be ready to have to do a little modification to get everything lined up properly. Otherwise everything went together fine, just one screw hole didn't line up. The wheels spin clean, so I'm hoping it will pull at decent speed if needed. I'm going to recommend some lock tite however on the nuts as they were not prepared with it on the threads. Lock tite in blue is what you want. I'm hoping to be able to pull my little Doggies to the Dog park tomorrow when I'm off. I purchased a soft carrier that opens on All sides with mesh enclosure. That way they can be Free inside the trailer and look around as they are cruising. I have two miniature Poms, a brother and sister about to be two and they love to go with me everywhere! They are actually my wife's pets, but they love to hang out and play with me. Should be an epic good time! My kids are grown and I didn't realize how much I miss playing with little ones, lol. Okay so I hope this review helps and I want to revise my statement to I recommend this trailer based on the video assembly, I stand by my statement about the written directions though, they are horrible and it would be better if they just didn't send them at all, and sent message to watch the video instead. ... show more

  • Difficult kit, but nice trailer if you can get it assembled
First, a good thing. The kit arrived very well packed -- no bends or scratches, no lost hardware. All parts were in good shape. But then came assembly. Other reviewers have noted that instructions are pretty much nonexistent. I don't think the included sheet really qualifies as an instruction guide. It sort of just jumps to explaining some features. The listing video provides some more assembly information, but it's rapid fire, and listing videos are difficult to pause at the right places and zoom in. So assembly wasn't pleasant. It was pretty aggravating, and I left it and came back to it once or twice. Including the head scatching, it took a couple of hours over a couple of days. The cups in the wheels that receive the bearings were a little tight and binded one of the bearings. I used a sanding drum in a rotary tool to sand the insides of the cups to widen them a little and the bearings went in nicely. There's one part that similar kits (very similar) include but this one didn't -- a plastic or rubber spacer between the handle and the cart tubing where the upper bolt connects. I improvised with a short stack of rubber washers. And there's one part -- two actually -- that were the wrong size, the springs that go inside the hitch assembly. And I'll mention the hitch (the piece with the release button that attaches to the hitch you install on the bike) was not pre-assembled. And the springs in the kit were simply too big and the hitch would not go together. I bought a set of assorted small compression springs for about ten dollars, and picked out a size that would work: 0.16" x 0.2" x 0.39". I did have to shave down the posts in the button part a little bit to receive the smaller springs, but once I got them in, the button and hitch connector worked fine. Some tools were included, but the included wrenches were the wrong size for some of the included nuts. And about calling this a "folding" trailer: It doesn't really fold, or rather, it only partially folds. Three of the sides will sort of lay down, and the wheels do come with quick release axles, so they can be removed pretty easily. But the handle will not fold, and it's bolted to the front of the trailer. It has to be disassembled in order to "fold" it and the front. After all that, why did I still give this kit four stars? For two reasons, I guess. One is that I saved some money ordering this one compared to what similar kits are listed four. And when it was all said and done, I did end up with a nice bike trailer that rolls and connects nicely to the bike. I did make a couple of small mods: I drilled two extra holes in the front handle so I could mount the handle lower on the trailer to better fit a smaller bike. And I did add a few reflective stickers on the side rails and the back one. Would I recommend this kit? I'm kind of on the fence about that. I'd say that if you can work through the challenges you can wind up with a usable bike trailer for a little less money. ... show more
