  • Double Ellite II is awesome and thank you so much for the Upgrade!
I cannot complain but where do I begin? This is amazing and I must say that this is a over sized stroller for one but perfect for two! In the first place it is amazingly easy to set up! Me and my husband began by opening the box and realized there was no visible instructions after taking the whole frame out and starting to putz around with the couple of pieces that came out we realized the whole thing is already assembled besides the tires and the stroller bars along with the tire guards! After picking up the pieces on the frame we realized there was the instructions right in side on the seat! The whole set up took but 10 minutes and it actually took us longer cause we dropped the washer for the front wheel down into our porch! If you are gonna set this up I suggest to anyone they do this on cement in a driveway and certainly not in there house only because you wouldn't want your little one(s) to get any of these pieces cause it will not be fun for anyone if your child puts these things in there mouth! The inside compartment is amazing it is pleasantly very secure with a 5 point safety harness and it has a rain/wind guard along with bug netting! It has a foot compartment so the taller your child gets the more comfy they can be so its not like trying to jam your child in something they should not! The whole thing is so easy to fold and store with the use of cotter pins and some shed or garage space( not that much is required either)your set to go! My only suggestion is if you have no space for this thing in a shed or garage well then fold it up and place it in a closet I have heard stories of people who owned these and they got nasty from keeping it outside and it can start to smell like mildew! If you have a husband like me who gets embarrassed from every little baby thing out there or who cares what people are gonna say or think well this might be better if you use this yourself! My husband wouldn't even take the trailer to get extra air if the tires needed it and well it doesn't but he said he would rather take the wheels off and go fill them up just because! Not a great answer but he wont admit it but he probably thinks the thing is too big and doesn't want to be seen with it! Any one who buys this is very smart! I got the Elite II because they upgraded my order for some sort of miss understanding but not only did they make good this was the best thing! I would deffinitly order from them again and again and again! Great Customer Service I spoke with Heather and she is very helpful! Dont know about anyone else cause I so far only dealt with her! ... show more

  • I search, this came out a winner
First things first, I love to bike, as an amature. I'm not rich, so i definatly like the price. I bought this for my 5 yr old so i can take her with me on longer rides. Her school is 1.5 miles from my house, i pick her up in the bike trailer after my drive home from work, it's very nice weather permitting. She's taller than the top of the stroller but could still fit comfortably, the entire top piece is velcro'ed, so it was easiy to loosen it up the 2 inches that she needed. but it's done in a way that she couldn't escape from the inside. it breaks down really well, easily hid behind a sofa, or tossed in a trunk of a car for a trip to a park or beach. speaking of breaks, they are terrible. the braking system i got is not the one in the photos, but i assume was an "upgrade". the brake cable goes into a Y splitter and is attached to bars that are levered aginst the back wheels, causing unnessicery wear. the "instructions" were for the type in the pictures. this set up can not be easily detached so storage is hampered and i'd have to leave the handle on even if i were using it as a bike trailer. I like the stream line look with out the jogging handle. but since breaks on jogging strollers are more for smaller women than 270 lb men, i just stripped it all off. the entire trailer fits together like virgin legos, tight and the parts have to line up perfectly, expect to spend a few seconds fiddling around with the pin trying to get it in the holes; except the front wheel, which is a hand screw with plastic knob, it wobbles pretty well. the trailer is attached to your bike with a large heavy duty spring. the addition of a nylon strap seams to indicated the manufactures acknowledgement that this could be a bad thing to fail. It's a $100 bike trailer, so i agree that it's the best way for that cheep. I'm comfortable trusting my daughter in it and i'm fairly rough on my bikes. Road test of the trailer on a below 50F day was the child was warm, i was sweating, and the trailer worked well. It pulled straight, turned easy, and stopped when i needed it to. I use it every day in some capacity, even to take trash to the dumpster or bring groceries in from the car. I love things that are helpful. Summary. if your a ridgid up tight *hole, Then go buy a $700 trailer / jogger system that is just as well put together. I'm looing in to buying the Aosoms cargo model. Update 4/30/12: I love updates, Makes it seem people actually care. I do, i still love this trailer, great for moving large boxes to the dumpster, groceries from the store or car, kids, etc. I reciently upgraded the bike to a electric and this trailer does fine at 20 mph. ... show more

  • Good product for the price
Color: Blue
This product is excellent for the price. I did a lot of research on different strollers, including testing out a cheetah 1 that was displayed at costco, and just didn't find that much difference in the burley and chariot models (except they charge 3 times the price and then you have to buy the separate attachements). This trailer was not difficult to assemble (in spite of the worthless instructions which were obviously written by someone with a very tenuous grasp of the english language)and aften the initial set-up, it can be attached to the bike in under a minute. If you bring the stroller attachment along with you, it can be changed over relatively easy in 2-3 minutes without additional tools. The trailer is easy to pull and is very responsive to the bikes movements. The large wheels minimize bumps over uneven terrain. The extra storage is also a nice feature. If you plan to use it predominantly as a bike trailer, I would recommend it. If you plan on using it mostly as a jogging stroller, I would say look elsewhere as the steering, third wheel is fixed and is not very manueverable (and it also seems to have a little bit of a mind of its own and will meander to either side without a steady grip). All and all, very satisfied with purchase. ... show more
