Description

Step 1: Remove the old rivet from the old lift handle with a drill Step 2: Place new lift handle in punched slot of main arm and align rivet holes. Step 3: Insert rivet through hole in main arm, place hex nut over rivet shaft and tight against rivet. Step 4: Secure the lift handle by pulling rivet tight with pop rivet gun.

The original units are manufactured from pot metal and are extremely brittle. This replacement part is literally 10 times stronger. The quality is actually so much better that I replaced the non-broken one to avoid any future problems.
