My only complaint, why I don’t give it 5 stars and almost didn’t give it 4 stars is because although it says it’s washable, maybe they meant if you went to a laundromat that would fit the XL, it would not fit in my XL washing machine that doesn’t even have an agitator. The smaller beds maybe. S, M but the larger ones would be problematic and the XL just wouldn’t fit. There’s no way to remove the cover. I don’t like that at all. If you have a pet that is recovering from surgery, this IS THE pad you want! You don't want them to get pressure sores and so this foam is exactly what is recommended while they are recovering. In my dog's case it was spinal surgery, and he had to urinate frequently also, so this went in the washer almost daily. Holds it's shape as soon as you get it back on the floor and do a little reshaping. He loves it and I suspect this will always be one of his dog beds instead of one of the more fluffy stuffed kind which is bulky and hard to wash. My German Shepherd loves the new floor mat for him. As soon as I put it on the floor, my dog was laying on it within minutes and fell asleep very quickly. It is larger than him so when he lays down, his whole body is on it. It has a soft gel feel to it. I’ve even laid down on it and I’m a bit jealous with the comfort my dog is getting from a floor mat! Item came on time. The pad fit perfectly into my pup's crate. When purchasing, just make sure to measure your crate to make sure it fits. It is on the thinner side but my pup prefers thinner pads vs. the thick ones. Comes compacted in thick plastic which was a challenge to open. LOL! I was skeptical at first. It came vacuum packed. I opened it, and it fluffed up very well. It is very plush, and very well-made. Will buy again over and over. It’s the gray one that might be eagle is on.
