  • These little things pack a great punch!
Color: Yellow
LOVE THESE lights! We ordered two and might be ordering more because they are that good. They are a great value as they charge by sunlight or by cord, you can plug them into any usb outlet so you can charge in the car if its dark out. They also work as a charger for things like your phone. They give off GREAT light! The photos I posted are on the lowest setting and they light up an entire room. You can keep it compacted to use as a flashlight or extend it to use as a lantern. They have a little hanger you can use to hang them up. And they last for HOURs and HOURS! I highly recommend these lights. ... show more

  • Stopped working after the return window
Color: Blue
After one month and a half, it hasn't been charging by the sun at all. The red light that used to light up to signal that it's charging no longer lights up. As for the phone charging claim, that is totally false. I took it to the beach fully charged (by USB), connected my phone and it didn't charge even one percent the whole time we were there (around 6 hours). I can't return it since the 30 days already passed. Such a waste of money! So upset by the false claims all over this product description!! >=( ... show more

  • Kizen Solar Powered LED camping lantern -- works as described, but better values and functionality on Amazom.
Color: Blue
effective and very compact. Provides a decent amount of light for a campsite. Small solar collector, takes time to recharge under optimal consitions. However if you are looking for a campsite lamp, I will recommend this from Amazon: The Hsicly USB/solar chargeable, foldable-waterproof-portable, multi light-function.... a 2-pack for modrately more than this Kizen camping lantern. It's batteries are long lived, my experience: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073B5641C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ... show more

  • Great little camping lantern for the price
Color: Blue
This is a great little camping lamp for the price. Solar powered, as well as a USB port for charging it or other electronic devices. It can be used closed as a flashlight or pulled open as a lantern, and has two brightness settings as well as an SOS signal. I just took this on a camping trip, and my friends were a little jealous. It worked very well & is small enough to stick in a pocket when nearing dark for easy access when needed. It can be set on a table to provide really good lighting, and I also hung it from the top of my tent when reading during a storm... it illuminated the entire tent well enough that I did not need any other light source. I only have 2 negative things to say about this lamp: 1) during my trip, all four of the rubber gripper pieces on the bottom fell off & were lost & 2) it takes a little practice to get a hang of the opening and closing. Neither of these are dealbreakers for me, and I still think this is a great multipurpose lamp for the price. I highly recommend it for your next camping adventure. ... show more

  • Cute little thing
Color: Blue
You know what, I just got this thing a few days ago, and already the company and amazon are wanting a review.. I think they wanted the review before I even got the product, but, that seems to be the trend these days... All you have to do is look at a product, and they want a review!!!!!! So, lets cut the chase... I have now played with this little light here at home for a few nights, discharging and recharging several times to get the internal battery limbered up and trying to get it SEASONED for full range of power use. Overall impression is pretty darn good, but, like always, the inventers stop inventing before they get to the finish line.. So, what did they screw up this time... First is the internal battery, it should have been bigger!!! It is okay, but, does not last very long.. I use it at the picnic table, and it works through dinner, etc. but, becomes pretty weak soon thereafter.... Is this a deal breaker? NO. But, it could be better!!! Next is the way the top and bottom click together.. I thought I was going to break it trying to get it open!!! It required the power of a bull to get the top to separate from the bottom!!!!! MERCY... Little pressure tabs on the sides could have resolved this!!! Time will tell as to how long all this ripping apart the top and bottom will last!!! Primitive at best.. Is this a deal breaker? NO, but, could have been a lot better!!! Then, there is the handle!!! It is one of the fold over to the side types.. Kind of a cleaver thing to do, but, the bums who designed the handle, left the edges sharp!!! How much booze do you have to drink to overlook this small issue... Drinking booze and smoking weed, should not be allowed while designing real outdoor gear.. Save that for the foofoo crap people put in their house!!!! But, is the handle a deal breaker? NO.... So, with all these issues, why a five star???? Because if it stays just the way it is, it should provide a good source of light in a small package for q good long time... I do like the squish design!!! I do like that when squished, it serves as a decent little flash light.. I am thinking this was designed for kids to use to play in the back yard at night, but, if it has durability, it will be a good thing to have in the tool box for real campers!!! As for the solar part, I have no idea!!! I have to charge it fast, so I go direct to the micro usb connection.... So, yes, five stars, for trying to do the right thing... Now, they can go back, to the drawing board and finish what they started! Would I recommend it??? Sure!!! It is a risk issue of course, but all the other lights I have, have been risks as well... Even the famous LUCI lights fall apart.. I have two of them.. Nice, but just the other day, one of the straps just broke loose from the lantern!!!! Of course, the warranty is already gone, so, I patched it up with some gorilla tape.. probably wont last long in the sun, but, what is one to do!!!! So much of the stuff on the market is just junk, but, you hope you get a little use out of them before they go into the landfill. ... show more

  • Well done little lantern
Color: Blue
Quality is good, I especially like the cover over the USB port and charging port. Expandable plastic seems like good quality, only time will tell. The tiny catches do seem to rub on the expandable plastic sleeve . I especially like the four tiny rubber feet on the bottom that protect the solar panel from being scratched. Low and high setting on the light is excellent. It does not flash Morse code SOS, but it does flash. It is difficult to open. I used a toothpick to apply a minuscule amount of super lube to the three tiny catches. After opening and closing several times, it is now working nicely. The only thing I wish it had is a magnet for using as a work light. But it has everything else and then some, so I’m definitely not complaining. Well done little lantern, well done. ... show more

  • Very Bright!
Color: Blue
The media could not be loaded. This light is great! It's very bright, lightweight, and compact- super convient for traveling. I liked that it has 3 settings, bright, brighter, and strobe (blinking). It's easy to use, my 4yo is helping me demonstrate in the video. I definitely reccomend.
