I’m going to be that person to preface this and say I never write reviews. I am also the person who always reads reviews so I wanted to let ya’ll know this little gadget works. This was my first time using it as a test trial before work. I did the wrap behind the head technique (kind of looks like a French braid). When I got up in the morning I just flipped my hair a couple of times and let them be. So convenient! It works! Curls come out pretty darn bouncy and tight and I brush them out with my fingers or a large-tooth comb. They do eventually loosen as the day goes on but I'm sure hairspray would help. I use it after I shower and my hair has dried do a dampen, then sleep in it. I just worked a 9 hour day, didn't use hairspray, and the waves are still there but of course muchhhh looser. I'd recommend. Much better than having to wake up early to curl hair. My hair type is: thin and long. It gets greasy towards the end of my 2nd day without showering, so I prefer using this when my hair is clean and not greasy as I think it works better that way. I’ve been seeing the heatless curls all over social media. Since I curl my hair on a regular basis, I figured I’d try it. I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. My hair does curl easily, so keeping it in the heat less curl set overnight provided soft full waves. I did notice more body in my hair as well. I did try with my hair wet as well as dry. Wrapping wet didn’t allow for my hair to fully dry so the curls were more soft waves. But when I wrapped dry, they turned out more like soft curls. And they held well most of the day. I didn’t even add product in my hair. The only negative I have is that this set is not comfortable to sleep in. If you’re a back sleeper and don’t move side to side like I do, you should be alright. But I like to sleep on my side and it made it difficult to do with the curler in my hair. Besides that, I have to say, it was worth the money spent. I’d probably wear it every night if I can figure out how to sleep with it in. Pro tip: wrap your hair tight - it keeps the curler in and allows for more defined curls in the morning. ... show more

If you’re a gray-haired person, you know how stubborn gray hair can be to hold a curl regardless of product used. Not with this! Not only did my hair curl, but it held a curl, and they were perfect once they relaxed a bit. Pro Tips: Wash and condition your hair Spray with a conditioning spray (doesn’t have to be fancy but helps with the softness) **blow dry your hair to about 80% dry. It shouldn’t be completely dry, but it shouldn’t be damp. Clip the top of the curl rod to your head (clip not included) Take the side you aren’t wrapping, and scrunchie it to the rod to stay out of the way On the side you are wrapping, take sections of hair, and wrap around the rod When you get to the end, bend the rod ends up and back, and secure with a scrunchie Repeat on other side I slept in mine. It wasn’t the most comfortable. But I went and got ready for work, removed the scrunchies and rod, sprayed some hairspray and used a wide tooth comb to help relax the curls (pics are pre-comb) Curls lasted ALL day! ... show more

This heatless curl set works like a charm! It beats me sleeping in my 3 - 5 flexi rods at night. I prefer to use this overnight so I can easily take my hair down and go. When I remove in the morning my hair has a slight wave which is what I like. Definitely work the price. The plastic part on flexi rods come apart over time. I adore this method. I have extensions, and this heatless method cuts out the problem with split ends. The curls start out great and slowly relax during the day. It literally takes maybe 10 minutes to roll up at night, and all I have to do is pull this out of my hair, run a quick curling iron through the top of my head, and it’s done in 10 minutes after sleeping all night. Highly recommended. Just wish it was a bit more comfortable to sleep in. super easy to use for daily curls, i couldn’t get it to work at first until i realized i wasn’t using it properly. should be twisting your hair simultaneously twisting it around the satin rod. watch a tutorial if you feel the product doesn’t work- because it does with my short straight hair
